Horrible quality
I would highly recommend not buying this bookcase. The gold finish is badly applied and looks very inconsistent. There are numerous spots where the gold was missing. Some of the bars did not line up properly, resulting in ugly gaps. The bolts used to attach the bars to the frames stuck out and were hard to ignore visually. If the bookcase were $200 instead of $500 might be able to forgive the poor quality. In the end I returned it.

If your looking for quality, style and functionality then this is it, the Safavids Mateo Gold/Walnut Metal Etsgere! I paid a little more for style and got a superb product from Lowe’s! I love the drawers to store things in, and the shelves to showcase things on. It’s sturdy and well built to last a very long time. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture and is the first thing noticed when walking into a room. I love it!
