Finally - a towel bar that fits!

We bought a pair of these 30" towel bars for a master bath full reno and not only are they attractive but they're also sturdy. We love that the width allows for towels to be hung after showering without folding so that they actually dry! The bar also comes away from the wall a decent amount so wet towels have airflow to dry - not close against the wall, making them mildewy. As always, Build was amazing to work with on all the items needed for this project- vanity, hardware and accessories!

Installation is difficult only because the first end of both bars must be inserted into the first end of the towel bar assembly (which has already been mounted on the wall) and held there while the other end of the assembly is mounted on the wall AND, SIMULTANEOUSLY, arranged to receive the second end of both bars. I.e. you need to have three hands but only have maneuvering room for one hand. I would also recommend using a more robust anchor (e.g. an anchor that actually "clamps" the wallboard/plasterboard) in the top hole of the mounting assembly in the case where you don't hit a wall stud. In addition, unless you mount the ends of the assembly at precisely the same distance apart as the length of the bars minus their insertion distance, you must also cut the bars slightly because they don't have an abundance of insertion distance available in each of the mounting ends.

Love this Delta towel bar

The design is simple and pretty and has a matching tp holder. The 30" length is wonderful as it allows you to hang two damp towels folded only once long ways for optimal drying time. Hard to find a 30" towel bar in a store so great to find all of these choices on Build.com

Contractor said it was tricky to install but it looks nice and is very good quality.

Black is back!

I used black fixtures from Delta for my entire new bathroom, including towel bars and robe hooks. Very happy with the matte black finish.

Aesthetically you either like this or don't, I bought it to match my faucet even though initially I didn't love the look. My favorite feature came to light after I installed it and I discovered it easily holds my phone. The bar coming out from the wall is wide enough to serve as a little shelf. It's a great way to keep my phone off the floor and out of the toilet! Also note this easily holds even the largest paper rolls and the chrome shines up nicely.
