These are great plates. They have weight to them and are not easily dirtied by finger oils. They feel like metal to some degree, but are in fact a very sturdy plastic. I'm impressed with the paint on the screws that is not willing to chip or flake even with rough handling with screwdriver.

This is one of those things you don't realize you should change out every so often. Well that's my story. This is one of those easy fix you're gonna say I should have done a long time ago. It it was so easy to replace and so inexpensive. All you need to replace this wall plate is a small Flathead screwdriver And one minute of you time. This little upgrade made a big difference. When I wanted to upgrade some old, outdated wall plates I couldn’t resist going with these Franklin Brass Matte Black plates. The beauty of the matte black was irresistible. It enhances the whole room. They are coated with an Antimicrobial coating which offers protection from stains and microbial growth. These were very easy to install and the mounting screws are included. Great product that you can’t go wrong with.

These switch plate covers are excellent. They are not thin like many are. All the screws needed to connect them are included. The size is perfect to cover up any imperfections in the cutout for the electric work. They look very solid. With four of them in the set is makes it easy to have the covers in several rooms look the same. I was surprised how solid they were made.

Nice Matte Black Franklin Brass Classic Architecture Decorator Wall Plate (4-Pack). I got these to replace the white wall plates. I put these in both bath rooms the dining room and laundry room, Looks good with my black washer and dryer. Only recv'd 3 screws in one pkg? I'll be getting the matching 1-Gang Toggle Wall Plate (4-Pack) for the bedrooms single switches and the 1-Gang Duplex Wall Plate (4-Pack) for the wall plug in outlets.. Very nice design and easy to install. Looks Great. Love the Matte Black.

[Rewarded Review] Great for Home Theater

These wall plates are very thick and solid feeling. They won’t bend or break. The Classic style is an improvement over standard wall plates. The Matte Black color goes well with beige wall paint. I used them in the basement hallway and in our home theater. They work well in our theater room where you don’t want anything reflective or bright white to distract attention from the screen. They also look great in the hallway outside of the theater against beige colored paint, providing a nice contract. The best part is the antimicrobial coating on the finish which protects against stains and microbial growth. Just be careful not to scratch them, because the black will give way to a white base color. I am happy with the purchase and will order matching outlet covers.

I was sold when I Saw Antimicrobial! When you see the design it’s a modern design style that reminds me of grand hotel wall plates or those in mansions. Now are in my home! [Rewarded Review] Smooth finish easy to clean

We just finished painting the entire house and when we put back all the outlet covers, we realized how ugly the old ones were and dirty. We saw these newer style outlets in the store and ordered online. They are a classic but updated design and we like that they are Antimicrobial to help keep germs away. They fit perfectly where the old ones were and they come with new screws as well. Just need a soft cloth to keep clean. We also have the single gang rocker style outlets to match.

[Rewarded Review] Very nice product

This wall switch plate from Franklin Brass Classic Architecture is a very nice upgrade to a plain wall plate. I have the white, which is a satin white so it doesn’t look cheap (like a glossy one would). One feature I particularly like about these wall plates is the ‘tray ceiling’ look of the raised, squares around the 2 switches. It adds an elegant touch to an otherwise boring household necessity. The wall plate comes with the necessary screws for installation. Replacement of my existing switch plates was a cinch and everything fit perfectly. NOTE: These wall plates will fit over built-in dimmer slides (see picture) which is a huge plus since that extra space is sometimes difficult to find. I cannot overstate the aggravation of having a wall plate not have just that ‘extra’ amount of clearance for the dimmer slides. These DO! These wall plates also claim to be ‘Antimicrobial’ having a finish that shields from stains and stink-causing microbial growth. Nice bonus for a light switch! The 2-Gang Decorator Wall Plates come in a convenient 4-Pack which is a really nice plus.

Changing out my old light switch plate covers for these new sophisticated satin nickel plate covers was a very good decision. The quality and design of the Franklin Brass Classic Architecture Satin Nickel Antimicrobial 2-Gang Decorator Wall Plate (4-Pack) is excellent. Upgrading hardware is a great and affordable way to add beauty to my home. I received this 4-pack and used them all. One in each bathroom and one in the hallway. They were very easy to install. The 4-pack includes all the screws needed. The covers stay shiny and clean and I am very pleased.

[Rewarded Review] Wonderful set

We are replacing our switch plates around our 80's home. Simple details really change the overall look to a room. This set helped us with four rooms. The bright white look is exactly what we wanted to replace old brass covers. The screws are easy to install, and in minutes, an improvement is done. This is a super easy DIY. Great that these come in sets as this helps with cost savings. I love the look and would recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Classic Look With Clean Lines

These classic looking wall plates are solid and are an easy way to upgrade any room in your house. The classic lines give it an elegant look. In this 4-pack, each plate is individually wrapped for protection. One thing I noticed is that the screws are a little longer than what I had in my plastic plates (see picture). My ivory plastic plates would show dirt over time. I’m not expecting that issue with the new Satin Nickel Antimicrobial plates. I would recommend these plates

Franklin Brass Classic Architecture Matte Black Antimicrobial 2-Gang Decorator Wall Plate (4-Pack) Model# W35244-FBA-C. This 2- gang wall plate has a great finish, is well made, strong with no bending and when you install it and get your screws nice and tight it doesn't bend or dip in around the mounting holes like weaker plastic gang wall plates! Mine have been installed for a week and the finish on them is holding up and still look great. Plus it's antimicrobial! Pro tip... When installing use a smaller head screwdriver with tape on it to keep from scratching the finish. I use hard tip plastic screwdrivers that are smaller then the mounting screw heads for installing items so I don't scratch the finish on the screws and the item I'm installing ;). This electrical plate has the feel of being metal; a good and solid weight and yet it is clear that at least the back is of a plastic material. It doesn't clang like plastic nor metal.

These Decorator Wall Plates have a design inspired by classical architecture. The white is in fact Pure White, so keep that in mind if near any white-painted trim, since it could make your trim look yellowed. Purchasing as a four-pack is convenient, to ensure matching plates throughout the house. My one negative was that this plate is ever-so-slightly smaller than the one I am replacing, which means I need to do some wall paint touch-ups.

This Franklin Brass Classic Architecture Satin Nickel Antimicrobial 2-Gang Decorator Wall Plate is very elegant. The beautiful Satin Nickel finish goes with just about every color scheme. It looks great in every room. I love the larger size of the wall plate. It is constructed of thermoset natural fiber, so there's no concern about materials. This wall plate is UL tested for safety and quality. I love that Franklin Brass included longer screws. These longer make installation a snap. No modification is required to install wall plate. Results are beautiful.
