Beautiful faucet and easy to install. The finish is matte and the handles move smoothly to turn the water on/off. I dropped a star because I was surprised the pop up drain is all plastic. You can't tell when it's in the sink. It looks nice and modern, but it was pretty shocking at the price that the stopper wasn't metal.

Faucets are beautiful, easy to use. These are low flow faucets. Match my decor perfectly. Purchased 3 had to exchange one that did not work. My plumber willingly waited for me to return. No problems so far with leaking. Water spots wipe off easily. I highly recommend if you don’t mind the low flow. Delivery was fast and efficient. I’ve had them approximately 2 weeks.

Just bought and installed two of these. Quality seems good so far. We like the look and finish. Installed without any issues. Plastic drain seems flimsy but working well and looks good. Only issue is the water splashes on both sinks when it hits the drain spout edge. Cannot figure out a way to solve this. May need to smooth with silicon.

The style and finish is amazing. The space in between the handles is small but still enough for cleaning purposes. It was installed maybe 2 months ago and not a single complaint to do yet. No damages during shipping not any missing pieces, fortunately.

Water volume / water pressure is lower compared to other brand. The swing range of the faucet handle is too narrow. Your hand might get burn on hot water while you adjust the water temperature. Also, one of new water spread pattern is useless. Not sure what it would accomplish.

Defective aerator

We bought two of these. One worked fine, the other had very low flow from day one. Thank goodness for all of the one star reviews that clued me in to this problem (wish I had read them before I purchased the faucets). One faucet had very good flow and the other had very low flow. Switched the aerators between the two sinks and verified the issue.

It’s beautiful and solid easy to put in. The only thing is because it’s polish chrome and there’s a lot of surface to it. It will get soap and water marks all over it. And this is just for the polished chrome one that I got. If you got one of the other finishes, you are perfectly fine. Think about it like a mirror getting splashes. If you keep a cloth handy, it’ll be fine and beautiful but otherwise that’s the only thing I did not consider when buying it. I still don’t regret it because it matches everything else in the bathroom that’s polished chrome.

Lousy faucet

I purchased this faucet when we remodeled the bathroom. The faucet looked good and matched the cabinets. Once installed I realized the water flow was so bad that it took so long to fill the sink or wash the sink. I contacted Kohler who sent me 2 new cartridges without any other explanation. I replaced the cartridges and the water flow was just as bad. If you don't mind water flow that is just about flowing, then this is for you. If you want a stronger water flow, avoid this faucet. Very disappointed in a Kohler product.

Don't understand the negative reviews. Great fixture. Not a lot of choices in the store but this one is a good balance between not too tall or two shot, which is great for a shallow sink. No smashing issues. Some of the other comments , obviously people did not clear out the aerator correctly, no flow issues. It's great height for taking a drink of water without being too high to splash. Very nice design. No issues to clean. Not a cheap Moen product!

The faucet is fantastic and works as anticipated. My only knock is the valve hold down washers and nuts were missing requiring a call to Kohler, and slowing the install by one week. I purchased two of these faucet sets, and the valve washers and nuts, which hold the two valves in place, were missing for both faucet sets. Disappointing, but Kohler came through with the appropriate parts. They work extremely well.

easy to install, works well

Easy to install - took maybe 30 minutes. When the faucet is on just a trickle, we get 2 streams instead of one, but it doesn't spatter like other reviewers have said. For normal handwashing water volumes, it's just fine. The only issue is we can't get the clevis screw tight enough to keep the drain lever connected to the pull on the faucet, so the only way we can actuate the drain stopper is by reaching under the sink to do it manually.

Fingerprints!!

I haven't even had this installed, thank goodness! I took it out to look at it and it got fingerprints that I had to polish off. That was WITHOUT even using it. I'm returning this and matching accessories including the expensive vanity light that goes with it and getting something that has Spot Shield. I saw Kohler mention to use 50/50 water and vinegar, that is ridiculous since you shouldn't get vinegar on stone or granite tops. You want people to wipe off a faucet every time you use it? Crazy!

We bought two of these faucets to go into our master bathroom about a month ago. Easy to install and seem like a nice heavy, good quality product for the most part. They work perfectly. We had no issues. However, the matte black does seem to scratch very easily. I think that is probably the case with most matte black products though. One of our faucets is already scratched and chipped. The other is still in great shape. I would recommend this faucet but I would pick a different color option.

Beautiful, but the water flow splatters

The faucet is beautiful, no doubt about that. Solidly made, feels great. The flow is limited to 1-1.2 gpm, and the stream out of the faucet is weaker than I expect to see. The flow is so weak that the faucet splatters water so much that to use it, I have to wipe down the counter top afterwards, even if it's just to let the water run. Cleaning the water aerator isn't an issue, as there's no debris in it.

I was so excited to have this faucet installed with our new bathroom vanity and sink. The brushed nickel finish makes it a great looking faucet. The fact that it is described as having an easy to clean finish that resists corrosion and wear is what really made the decision, since it was installed in the kids bathroom. Then four days later, I went to clean the bathroom and there were water spots that would not come off. I contacted Kohler and was referred to a cleaner that they produce or was told to try Greenworks Glass Cleaner. Some of the "water spots" will not come off, as soon as the cleaner is rinsed and the faucet is dried with a soft cloth the spots return. I never would have purchased if I had known this was an issue. So know that you will have to stay on top of keeping this faucet clean, if I had to do over, would have went with another finish.

Faucet needs a serious update

Bought this faucet a few weeks ago at Home Depot. When you pay $100 for a faucet its expected that the quality standard would be high. This item does not meet that standard. The reviews from Home Depot show that. The aerator on this faucet is horrible. The stream of water sprays every where at high pressure and runs down the underside of the faucet neck at low pressure flooding the counter top. It looks like this has been an issue for a few years for the Rubicon, but Kohler still hasn't fixed the issue with a simple update to the aerator. Strangely, a replacement cannot be purchased at Home Depot or any where else for a few bucks because the design is proprietary to Kohler., instead the customer has to go through the hassle of contacting customer service to get a simple issue fixed.

Decent faucet with VERY limited water flow

Bought a pair of these for the master bathroom. Installation is extremely easy. Took less than half an hour each. The big problem with these faucets is there is almost no water flow thanks to the flow restrictors being put in by the manufacturers. Most companies make it easy to remove the restrictor but Kohler has decided that they and they alone get to dictate your water flow. There is almost no way to remove the restrictor without destroying the whole aerator. Stupid design. Fortunately, Neoperl makes an aerator with reasonable water flow (approx 2.2. GPM). Costs about $10 but takes this faucet from landfill material to usable. One other complaint on this faucet...it is very prone to water stains. Overally, a rather poor effort from Kohler.

Looks Beautiful - BUT SPOTS are awful

I purchased 4 of these to replace all of my bathroom faucets. Installed 2 in my masterbath first. They look and work beautifully. However the finish is awful, waterspots are everywhere on handles and spout. Even wiping down daily does not help. Using stainless - no streak cleaner does not help. Now that I read the reviews on all the sites I see this is a common problem for this model. I have returned the other 2 faucets, but sadly are now stuck with these. I'm confused because I have brushed faucets in laundry, other bathrooms, master shower and kitchen and never had a problem. When I went to a bathroom fixture store and asked ....they said its probably the finish, but were surprised the Kohler brand allowed.

We did a complete bathroom remodel and went with the Kohler Rubicon in Vibrant Brushed Nickel faucets for sink and bathtub. They look beautiful out of the box but take a good look as it will be the last time they look so good. These faucets collect water spots like crazy! The only way to keep them spotless is to wipe them down everytime they are used. If you don't do that after a few times of use they look terrible.
