The post to housing connection isn’t the strongest and the light box wobbles a bit in strong wind, also the screws holding the base to the post rusted quite quickly. Other than that it was easy to install and works well.

This light was to replace no the roost light whose base rusted. This a really nice quality made fixture. Instructions were great, easy to install and looks awesome. My last fixture had screws and hardware that didn’t come with rubber washers or grommets to protect from water seeping in to base. This fixture came with rubber washers to protect from water entering the base and causing that same rust problem. I probably should have siliconed the original fixtures screw holes but customers shouldn’t need to do that for screws. My only design flaw that I see is that I find it looks strange and out of proportion using the standard bulb size they recommend. With the fixture being very tall, the standard bulb seems dwarfed and almost a mistake in this fixture. But I willing to deal with that because I love the style,

Rusting screws

Two weeks after installation, the screws on top and the screws that holds the fixture to the base are starting to rust.Also the screws they provide to attach the base to the pillar are too short, I had to buy longer screws.

Toxic Whiteness

The light is fine but I will no longer shop at Home Depot due to my toxic Whiteness.

Great light all together but when we screwed in one of the screws at the base the structure cracked :( other then that great lights so far . Very modern farmhouse style . Love the matte black color . Wish they came with bulbs , have to buy your own keep that in mind .

Cheap but flimsy

Bought this to match the outdoor sconce, and I really like the look and price. However, everything about this feels about as cheap as it is. Especially between the base post and the cuboid/box, there is a LOT of flex if you push it. I’m pretty concerned what would actually happen if there’s a big storm. Would not be surprised if it bent. But price, looks and ease of installation is great. I’ll leave it as is, but would have happily paid 20 bucks more to have a more sturdy construction

Easy to install. 3 wires to power it and 4 anchors to fasten it to the pier. Remember to turn off your power and double check it’s off at the light with a volt tester.

We installed this directly on a post (didn't use the bottom piece) and it looks and works great. We have the matching exterior lights as well. Very happy with the look and ease of installation.
