I really want to like this faucet

We've had the faucet installed for 2 months so far. The faucet itself works great and I love the pull down sprayer. The black looks awesome and surprisingly doesn't show spots as bad as our brushed nickel faucet. The installation was easy and the light ring is more useful than I imagined. The reason for my low rating? This faucet keeps working itself loose. I've had to disconnect it twice now to tighten the mounting nut otherwise it rotates when you grab the handle. Very frustrating the mounting isn't better.

I would prefer a better engineered faucet.

Quality seems good, time will tell. It does not continue to drip as some reviewers have said. My complaint is that in my situation the handle needs to be positioned on the right side, I would prefer the left side. With it on the right side hot is in the vertical position and cold will be in the horizontal position pulled towards yourself and slightly hanging over the sink. You can position it on the left side but then you are pushing the handle away from yourself for cold, which can be a bit of a stretch for shorter people. As well on my counter the back splash is so close to the faucet that I can’t turn the handle fully open when it’s on the left side as it hits the back splash. If the faucet valve was designed better you could reposition the handle a 1/4 of a turn and have cold vertical and hot would be pulled towards you. But what would be better is like my old Moen in which the handle moved from 45 degrees back to 45 forward from vertical. It does not go too far back or forward which is much more comfortable to use and the handle can be positioned on either side. I guess I will just have to put up with it or look for something different,( if there is anything better? ) My old Moen was not perfect either, the hot water hose was internally lined with rubber which after a number of years started to fall apart and get into the water. That is why I bought this one. I am not impressed with Moen.
