Great canisters
I just added 5 new canisters to my old 5 canisters, because I buy coffee beans in 5 pound quantities. I recently ordered 2 such bags and needed the extra storage. I have used the old canisters , likely, for 20 or more years. They are still perfect, which I expect the new ones will be in 20 years. They will likely be in my estate.
Keeping it fresh!
Absolutely love these coffee bean storage cannisters. That satisfying 'whoosh' when I press the air lock, the quantity of beans they hold. It's not like our Koffee Kult beans stick around very long, but fresher is better! And they look great. I attached our two 'always on hand' cutout labels from the last shipment with a little spray on glue...voila! Might have to get a smaller one for the random 12 oz bag we try out.
Glass Airscape Coffee Storage Container Medium
A little hiccup with the original jar lid, but sorted out very quickly by an exceptional team.
Essential for fresh coffee
Really worthwhile having one of these if you appreciate when coffee is fresh, either ground or beans. Vacuum sealed, in a dark container. Every time I open the container I just grind the beans I need for my espresso machine then seal again. The fresh aroma is like opening a new coffee packet every time you open it. I like the way you have the inner vacuum press lid then the glass lid to top off the container. You can then put the label for your coffee in there to remind you what coffee you have on the go and the taste notes. Very happy with this and the fact you get a free bag of coffee with it.
Great canister, paint could be better
This canister protects well the beans keeping them fresh for more than the time recommended by the roaster, no light, most of the air is removed and it's easy to operate.
SFB Airscape Canister, Large Size
What's not to love about this canister? It was exactly what I was looking for. Preserves the freshness of my coffee and looks nice on my kitchen coffee bar too. The large canister holds the large 28 oz. bag of coffee and then some. I also love the way the inner lid presses down the coffee to squeeze out all the extra air inside the canister before you put the top lid on. Genius design!
Coffee Storage Jars
The Airscape Steep Canisters are a game-changer for coffee storage. With patented valve technology, they seal in freshness, while their durable stainless steel construction and sleek design make them both functional and stylish. Easy to use and versatile, they're perfect for any kitchen. If you're serious about preserving the flavor of your coffee beans, these canisters are a must-have addition to your arsenal.
Great canister but the colour needs discussing.
Excellent canister. Airtight and does a good job of evacuating the trapped air.
Great canister ... colour doesn't match web
Excellent canister. Airtight and does a good job of evacuating the trapped air.
Hits you with that coffee smell ! LOL
Absolutely incredible storage container for coffee beans. I have three now and they are so aesthetically pleasing to keep on the countertop. I also love that you can get different colours for different roasts and you can stack them if needed. The sound of the pressure disc is satisfying and you legitimately get hit with a coffee smell when you pull the disk up. It’s clearly keeping everything locked in there and i find the beans stay fresh!
These do an excellent job
These get the air out and really keep the beans fresh. It's a good push vacuum seal and the top lid makes the whole canister even more air tight. A very worthwhile accessory for people who are serious about their coffee beans. The colours are very good. I have the matte charcoal and turquoise varieties.
These do an excellent job -
I bought 500 g and 250 g sizes. Great together to manage a kilo bag of beans. I use the 500 for longer term storage and the 250 for managing daily use. The vacuum seal expels most of the air with a firm push, and the second lid on top of the canister actually contributes to creating a better air tight seal. You notice this when you come to open it after it's been sealed for only a short while and you really need to peal that top lid back.
Airtight and Fresh Coffee
Aside from winning style points, the product does what it is supposed to do. While I gave it five stars, in reality - I would give it 4.5 stars. Two things to note: 1) I would definitely recommend that this be used to store whole coffee beans versus leaving excess beans in the hopper to lose flavor; and 2) If you don't mind the small mess, you can use this to store coffee regardless of how you grind it. While the air does get locked out, a small amount of coffee regardless of how you grind your coffee (fine, medium, or coarse) will scatter as you pull the lid even if you are extra careful. Because of this, I would not use this to store sugar, flour, or any type of ground spices.
The best value coffee bean container!
Having found a new passion in coffee. I noticed that storing the beans in vacuum containers was causing issues with keeping it fresh, I had no idea that sunlight would dry out the beans. So I did a lot of research and found that the Airscape was the best one in the market for my application. With the Airscape, it has a super easy way to release the air out for storing your beans to keep them nice and fresh longer. Even easier to remove the lid to access your beans right away. I did the research so that you do not have to
Best Product of Its Type
Nothing beats Airscapes for keeping coffee fresh.
Used Product
The canisters themselves look nice and seem to work fine so far in keeping the coffee beans fresh by pushing all the air out. The inner lid provides a tight seal. I ordered two canisters, one of them came in its original cardboard packaging while the other one was not. It was shipped only in a soft bag that's provided by the manufacturer but not in a cardboard box like the other one. And I even found a small dead spider inside it! This is disappointing as the canister could have been dented/damaged in the shipping process (luckily it wasn't) and I was expecting to be sold a new product, not a used or returned one. Unfortunately, I have to give it 3 stars for a used product.
