Black coating paint already peeling off

I bought two of these shower niche's for my bathroom. Both are fully installed; however only one is in use at this time (the second bathroom is yet finished). It's only been two months and the black coating is already peeling. I'm hoping Lowe's will rectify this by refunding my purchase. I have to replace them both and pay for the new ones to be installed.

great shelf

Purchased shelf online. It came quickly and in good repair. Installation was a breeze and it looks great in the shower! Only four stars however, because it wasn’t actually flat. It bowed out in the center of both sides, but nothing a little extra silicone couldn’t fix.

Just what I was looking for

I had the niche delivered and unfortunately it came damaged. It was well packed but not good enough apparently. The box, packing and niche was damaged. The manufacturer was no help with replacing. They would only offer a $25 lowes gift card to keep it as is. Lowes however replaced the unit with zero issue. It was worth the hassle. I really like the replaced undamaged unit.

The niche showed up quickly and is nicer than I thought it would be. Well made and easy to install. The cost was less than most other shower niches. Would recommend to others.

Very easy to install didn’t take but about 20 minutes.Fits perfectly just follow easy instructions. Don’t have to worry about rust looks very professional.My wife loves it good place for shampoo soap anything you use in the shower. Would buy this product again and highly recommend this product !

First one came damaged. Company won't replace it. Had to return to Home Depot and have them reorder. Nice product

Bar of soap peeled paint

Item was easy to install and looks great. However, a bar of soap stuck to the paint and peeled a chunk off. Used some matte black spray paint to cover the defect. I ecommend a soap dish of some kind to avoid this problem.

easy shower niche install

this was easy to put into my shower panels, and it looks great and works as it should. A++

Wish the water would drain

It looks nice with our tile choice. Installation was easy. But I worry about water puddling on the shelf. A proper design would have a slight angle to let water run off
