Interior shelf surface is too flat to shed water

Quality and finish both look good, but the interior shelf surface of the niche was manufactured with absolutely no slope, and thus doesn't shed water. For a shower shelf, especially with a matte black finish, having the water fully drain is vital for minimizing the build-up of minerals. The installation guide actually instructs owners to wipe down the shelf after *every* use, which would require emptying the shelf after each shower. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this product.

Perfect addition to my new shower

Bathroom remodel after 25 years.... Wanted to go more modern with a country vibe. This niche fits beautiful inside the corrugated metal wall of the shower.

Flanges need to be siliconed

Niche is all steel so hopefully sturdy enough but note that it is unclear that it is designed to set into the finished wall with the flanges on the outside, so you better waterproof the heck out of the installation if you've boxed in from studs, including good silicone at the junction of the flanges and the shower wall to prevent leakage/wall water damage – and this may end up with less than a finished look.

Nice addition to new shower

This niche looks amazing in my new shower, and it was remarkably easy to install. I wish I had ordered a couple more for my shower!

Difficult to keep clean

Easy to install. It has a beautiful matte black finish, but fingerprints do not clean up easily!

Modern appearance

I love this niche. I recommend measuring height of shampoo bottles to make sure they fit, luckily mine did! Very clean and modern look!
