Valet Rod
Installed nicely, wife likes a lot.
Just what i was looking for. Read installation instructions carefully and it was easy.
The product is beautiful but the screws that accompanied it were ridiculous!! Flat end and way too short! Had to get proper wood screws to install it.
The material wasn’t as sturdy as expected.
This is the valet rod to buy
If you are looking to purchase a valet rod, this is the one to buy. Sturdy, attractive, easy install, wife likes it, will last forever. Exceeds all these criteria. Go with the 11-3/4" if you have a standard closet width, which is 12" or 14". If you have a deeper closet shelving, then there is a longer 14-1/8, but the smaller will work here too.
Pricey but worth it.
I bought 2 of these valet rods for my own closet after seeing something similar at one of the closet companies and I'm glad that I did. Although somewhat pricey, these pull-out hooks are sturdy and sleek looking. They pull out smoothly, and (so far) they seem to hold quite a bit of weight. They were also easy to install.
I want another one!!

Hafele Valet Hooks
This is the same valet hook that California Closet sells for twice the price. Easy to install and easy to move to another spot in the closet. Written instructions are vague, but there’s a video on the website. Very happy with my purchase.

CLOSET VALET
While the product was very nice, what they don't tell you is that the hardware is NOT included. That is not good. It took a lot of time trying to find a euro screw that worked with my California Closet. For the price one would think that the hardware could be included or at least tell you it is not included.
