The 18 inch downrod

Didn't need it. The one that came with the Mykonos 52" fan was fine for 5 1/2 in 12 pitch vaulted ceiling though it is as advertised as not suitable for that slope.

I purchased two ceiling fans that are top notch quality, but when I went to return two additional accessories that I didn't need was refused. I was three days overdue with requesting a return/refund. To treat a return customer with such disregard is a travesty.

Wrong item was sent do to a coding issue on behalf of wayfair. They were not able to expedite and service was dropped. Not a great experience.

I installed several theses on a new build. Every one of them broke (the tab keeping the fan from spinning). This caused damage to all of the fans, ie due to the fan body itself turning, it ripped out of the wiring from inside of the fan.

I will be buying this again for my next fan purchase.

As Expected

Mounting was very easy and the base is large enough to accommodate the remote box and all the wiring. Color matches my fan perfectly. The mount allows for my fan to hang properly from my steeply raked ceiling.
