Sturdy and square. We planted small trees in the planters and they are easy to move with a hand truck, thanks to the flat bottom.

Internal Dimension = 10x10

It's a really lovely planter and very well made, and I won't take off points in this review because of my issue. But I was going by the 16 x 16-inch dimensions in the description when I purchased this online. The plastic on the inside makes that planter really only a 10 x 10, a whole six inches lost to the internal construction/wall of the planter. My plant needs at least a 12 x 12 x 12, and I thought 16 x 16 square cube would give it all the room it needs and more, even if say there was an inch wall between inside and out. I did a lot of research on planters before choosing this one, and my spirits are deflated. This pot was pricey and my time precious. And now I'm looking at a trip to Home Depot to return it. And I'm looking to find another planter (and on my last trip to Home Depot, there wasn't anything I could use from the dwindling selection). I hope you will consider updating your description so all measurements are clearly obvious to future customers of this really wonderful planter. Thank you.

I love the planter design and quality. I think that the fill hole should be there and not have to be drilled by the purchaser. It would also be a good addition to have some sort of a water indicator float to aide watering frequency.

Looks nice great design and self water feature, but the plastic is very pourous, and the white was blackened quickly just by me planting in it and dirt touched the surface. Also the plug they give you is too big. It is for filling the self water feature at the top. i highly doubt anyone has a drill bit big enough to drill a hole cleanly. I had to drill and use a knife to make it slowly bigger, but it looks pretty crappy.

I like the way it looks, and also liked how it included instructions on how to use the self watering option by drilling the hole on the top or back , and it works great. I only had to water first two week everyday, then check to see if it needs to be watered. It is also sturdy and expensive looking.

I ordered 2 of these planters. They look beautiful out by my pool. Feel very sturdy. They are not heavy until you put soil in. Nice that if I can't get out to water the flowers they won't wilt on a hot sunny day.

These are excellent. I bought 3 of them for the front of my house. Not 100% sure the self watering feature will work in hot weather...but I bought these for the looks and not the self watering feature. They are very attractive and looks wonderful...

Great planter for the price

These are great. They are a perfect size to do a cute, but easy to maintain arrangement. I like that you can drill the hole in the most convenient spot for where you are putting the planter, if you want to use the self watering feature. Looking forward to putting these out on our deck in the spring! The price is also great for the size, and the material is what most of our patio furniture is and very easy to maintain.

Handsome and sturdy

The container arrived safely and looks to be a strong sturdy container. It has double walls and a water reservoir in the bottom where excess water drains. A few inches up there's a small inconspicuous hole in the outside wall for water to drain.

The planters are beautiful and appear very good quality. As a garden center owner I would prefer a drainage hole at bottom as over watering and kill plants faster than under watering, but I also understand they are self-watering. I am using this first as a topiary planter using silk flowers for wedding so it won't be a problem.

home self small gardener

I bought 3 of these for my small upper deck. The last pots I had, had trays under them and would still leak all over. And, if I put plant food in them, it would be yellow leakage on the porch. The resovior these pots have make it the perfect pot for my deck overlooking the ocean. I wish I found out about these a long time ago. The clay color matches my deck perfectly. This is the only deck I care about water leakage. I have other porches that water leakage is not a problem. The pots look very classy too.

Great curb appeal

I ordered 2 of these planters to put at the beginning of our walkway leading up to our front porch. We have boxwoods in the planters and it finishes off the front yard perfectly; giving it great curb appeal. They are very clean and elegant looking; easy to wash and keep clean and the perfect size (not too big; not too small). They are also extremely lightweight and there is no assembly required. They set us apart from the rest of the neighborhood, since nobody has anything like it. Great product; highly recommend.
