I found this product to get the job done. The wire handle made for a light design. You might be concerned by the fully metal body and handle, both because of heat conduction and its potential reactivity to certain ingredients. Those were non-issues with the 1.75 cup measuring cup though the cup itself will get hot. I appreciate the size, durability, and easy ability to clean.
