We bought a house with a rather small kitchen. Though we did a partial remodel, the sink base is not very large. I was afraid I was going to have to live with a small sink. This Houzer sink was an excellent solution. It fits well in a small space and the shape and depth gives plenty of room for dishes, pans, etc. The quality is very good and the overall look is wonderful. It looks much more expensive than it is. In addition, Home Essentials Direct provides a much better price than retail. A win win.

This sink seems great. I have friends who have it and it would have worked well. The problem I ran into is that I was trying to replace a double-bowl, 6 1/2" deep sink. The difference is that this sink is deeper, and that the drain is at the rear. Both caused problems for the plumbing anatomy in a tight apartment, but the height was the biggest issue. Solved it by getting this Houzer double-bowl sink instead: Houzer MG-3209SR-1 Medallion 32-by-21-Inch 80/20 Double Bowl Undermount Stainless Steel Sink, Right Side Prep Sink . The large bowls are cut from the same mold according to Houzer. And this way I could put the disposal on the higher (smaller) sink.
