I bought these last year for a few events. I bought two and both are hovering at less 1,000 each and the bulbs are both burned out.

Very strong light

This light is okay for big places. You can adjust this lighting but the light I believe is little strong and can be better used for a big party place rather than small.

BRIGHT

This is a very compact, super bright strobe light with dimming and shutter speed controlling capabilities. Best strobe under $200

ADJ MEGA FLASH STROBE

These great light weight strobes are the last of the Mobile djs hidden treasures. I also keep 3 or 4 of them at the ready. Im not quite impressed with LED strobe lights. If you can get your hands on one of these its worth it. If youre handy you can replace the diffuser for a brighter look. Hey nothing lasts forever but these are about the best out here. For a big crowd youll need a few of them.

Very Strong

Very strong strobe for a very good price. It shines brightly in small and medium-sized rooms and has good and simple controls for speed and brightness (although the brightness doesn't have much of an effect).

This is the best strobe light I've ever owned

This is probably the best strobe for your money , very bright I use it to kind of blind the audience sometimes, it has a far throw. i use it on a small stage works very well, also works well on a small to medium size dance floor.

American DJ Mega Flash Dmx strobe is a verry well designed light. You can feel the build quality right out of the box. The option the run this light dmx is great. It allows you to controll the brightness and speed of the flash. This strobe is very bright amd has a wide angle, so even with one strobe you can fill most stages. Just remeber it is a 800 watt bulb so you need power to run these lights if useing multiples.

I like that this strobe has a dimmer option, but to be honest there is nothing about this thing that sets it apart from any other half decent strobe on the market. Works fine, is bright as hell and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, so 4 stars!

800 watts is hard to argue with

Pros: Easy Setup,Efficient,BrightCons: No Cons For MeI used this Strobe for my Halloween effects. I looked at some of the strobes on the market today and none of them seemed very bright, mostly the LED ones. This light does not disappoint when it comes to brightness. I could almost say it was too bright but it does have a dimmer adjustment so that should not be an issue. I was very happy with the effect. I ended up using the internal microphone to sense the sound of the scary Halloween music I was playing, once I turned up the volume it worked better than expected.

Great Product

I DJ school dances. I own two of these, and they cover the whole dance floor of over 800 kids. Very bright and powerful. You must run them in 15 minute cycles however since they are not LED. I like to run them with my other lights off, but they do overpower my 8 PAR 64 cans and other assortment of lights. Great buy.

Pros: Easy SetupCons: Runs HotI use this as a center piece strobe on my light grid. It replaced an older SA-100 from American DJ I bought in the 90's. Overall the unit works well and is well made. The controls on the back of the unit are easy to manage and I like the fact you can use as a regular strobe, DMX, or music sensitive. I do think the unit could be brighter though, so I might invest in another unit and connect via DMX cable for better impact/coverage on the dance floor.

Super Bright!

All in all this strobe light is pretty good. The speed adjustment knob is sensitive meaning it goes from approximately 1 flash per second to 50 flashes per second in the first quarter turn of the knob, while the rest of the 3/4 turn doesn't change it much. The sound function seems pretty useless, I thought it was going to be a winner worked well with a foot stomp, but to the beat of the music... not even close. However it appears to be very well made, looks great and is positively BLINDING. If the sound function worked better it would be 5 stars.
