This Peel Works Great!

I bought this product a few weeks ago and used it for the first time tonight. I made a 12 -16 inch pizza for dinner, and this pizza peel took it from oven to serving at table just perfectly. The bamboo wood is smooth, strong, and cleans up easily with a damp cloth wipe. This peel works great; highly recommend!

I little thick and the have to shake very hard to get the pizza to slide off.

Perfect of home oven

Perfect size and length to get homemade pizza into the kitchen oven. Im able to get pizza on pizza stone easily, I usually make an individual pizza for each person so I make smaller size pizzas and this makes it easier to get them in and out of the hot oven. Im very happy

Great Design....Poor Execution

I bought this b/c it was recommended by ATK. Ordering on Wal-Mart was easy, I picked it up in the store, it was packaged well and the process was hassle-free. No problems at all with Wal-Mart. The good part of the pizza peel: perfect size, perfect beveled angle, handle is the right length. The overall design is great. The manufacturing, however, leaves a bit to be desired. The surface of the wood was not finished properly. It is shedding wood fibers and splintering (right from the box). I will try to fine-grit sand it myself to see if that solves the problem. I am disappointed that the manufacturer skipped a crucial step. I really like everything else about this product, but I do not want wood fibers in my pizza. Shedding from my dog is okay, however, shedding from my kitchen utensils is not. I will return it if I can't fix it.
