Easy to Assemble for 63yr old woman

I hunted for an adjustable swing arm lamp in burnished bronze that was highly rated and affordable on my limited income level. I found some that fell into those guidelines however most had the 'step on/off' switch which doesn't hide well and looks cheap and tacky (can not find the appropriate word for those type of switches); remaining exposed for convenience. If one tucks the switch behind or under a piece of furniture, it is -at best - inconvenient. I wanted a switch that one uses by hand. The added plus of this lamp is that it is a three-way switch up to 100 watts or equivalent, and it has a cloth shade. So after unpacking a well protected heavy base and laying it on its side to pull the cord it's full length through said heavy base, I could tilt the base up and turn the three part post(s) together fairly easy. The swing arm operates smoothly. The only complaint I have is that the rub isn't pronounced as much as I would like but it's not enough of a reason to return or reduce my star rating. No worries of it falling over folks as the base is quite heavy-made! Iron(?)

Nicer Than Expected

Way nicer than I thought. Very sturdy. I've purchased a second one.

Great Lamp

My only complaint is that no matter how I attach the base, the power cord won't be in the back. It always ends up lining up with the swinging arm on the side.

Solid and attractive Floor Lamp

This is a solidly built floor lamp. Easy to assemble and very attractive. I put in a 30 x 70 x 100 watt bulb. The picture is taken with the 30 watt setting on. Great reading lamp.

The top plate of the lamp that has the movable arm is bent and cannot be shifted to sit level. I want to rerun this item because it is defective. How do I do that??

Poor materials and design

Cheap materials with cheap threaded connections. Swing arm threads stripped immediately. Pot metal.

I've had this lamp for a couple years now did have to replace the switch once but all in all a good lamp for the money.

Good value for the price

The lamp is on the small side. Materials are ok but a bit lightweight good size for bedroom

The weight is rather light . I have 2 behind chairs for reading . There really isn't enough light . They may be better mood .

Flexible and attractive

Bought this for a docs office at work, so it had to be sturdy and flexible. It is. Very attractive in a simple elegant way. Easy to assemble, versatile piece.
