A good fixture buy should have better system for the interconnect.

I ordered four light fixtures, when they were installed, one of the four had a missing selector switch, (very small piece) and I had to order online for an additional one which cost me additional installation for a return trip from the electrician. Very disappointed in product assembly.

The electrical connections are in the junction box on top of the fixture, not inside the fixture like fluorescent fixtures. So instead of mounting first, and then connecting wires, you need to hold the fixture up while connecting the wires and stuffing them into j-box, then continue to hold while attaching it to the j-box and/or ceiling. Once in place it works great.

Why the non-standard mounting slot spacing?

Installation Guide shows mounting option to standard junction box (photo panel A). Great! ...only one problem: junction box mounting holes are spaced 3.5" (e.g., RACO, panel B) and Metalux mounting slots are spaced 3.35" (panel C). Competitor's LED Wrap Light has correct 3.5" spacing (panel D). This requires modification of Metalux slots to fit standard J-Box -- makes installation a pain! Why the non-standard spacing... am I missing something?

I bought this light is for Basement and price is little high when compare to other similar products. Overall Right choice.

Works fine. LEDs are quite bright. Needs to come with a Romex clamp to put in the knockout.

I got this for my shed to add light to my workbench. My electrician hooked it up in 20 minutes and said he thought it was a high-quality product. The unit gives off plenty of light and is powerful for its size. An excellent value.

Light up your life

I recently picked up this Metalux 4 ft LED light to brighten up my laundry room. One piddly 60 watt bulb has been tree only source of light for years, I couldn't see what was going on in there. I installed this fixture with 3800 dimmable lumens and it's a game changer. I can now see the soiled spots and the room is nice San me bright. Easily installed using the existing junction box that housed the old fixture, attached 3 wires and screwed the base to the ceiling. Easy peasy.

These lights really work well. Out of the box they are super easy to install and connect to each other creating an entirely well light and comfortable area. The lights are bright but not overpowering which is essential in my workspace. They use very little energy which helps to keep the costs down. And, if necessary, I can always add on for more light. Definitely recommend.

Good size

Great size light bar that is dimmable. 4ft and 3800 lumens makes it a great addition to my husbands workspace.
