Easy to wire, light enough to hang easily without having to install heavy duty anchors. Very bright and clear lighting. No hum or flicker at all. Need to buy a few more to replace old flickering fluorescent fixtures. And they are much smaller than the replaced fixtures so there is less visual clutter!

First impressions of the lighting fixture is that it is a really good size. We plan on mounting it in our laundry room. Since you do have to install it directly with the wiring we need to wait a bit to do to ensure we do it safely. Overall, the design it itself looks nice and I like the detail on the lighting cover,

The Metalux 4 ft. 4000-Lumens 4000K Cool White Integrated LED Wraparound Light is amazing! I got this new light for my home office because my current fixture does not give enough light. It's 4 ft long, which was the perfect size, and is the perfect color temperature and brightness for office work. My fiance installed this, and it only took a few minutes. I have to say I was disappointed the light did not come with the hardware to install it, aside from 3 wire connectors, but we had plenty of hardware already, so we didn't have to buy anything. Given the price for this light, I have to say it's more than fair to provide my own hardware. Note that when opening the package, beware not to throw out the bag of wire connectors as it looks like a silica gel bag to keep packages fresh. We almost tossed it in the trash! My office is so much brighter now, and I love that the color is cooler and the light is more uniform. The color and output from this light make me feel more energized when I come in for work, and I believe it has made me more productive. This light could work anywhere in the home where you want some extra light. It would also be the perfect light for applying makeup as it gives you more of a true color. It will last quite a while as it's rated for more than 50,000 life-hours. I totally recommend it! Less

This light is SO bright! I love that it’s a very cool brightness too so it doesn’t give the whole room a yellow cast but shows the true colors of things. It’s the perfect light for when I want to do things without having their color changed like taking photos, painting, or applying makeup. The installation was pretty easy although part of me wishes it came ready to plug into a wall that would have made it extra easy. Seems very durable too!

This home improvement project was super easy and give the space the much needed light it had been lacking. I installed this light fixture in my laundry room replacing my other one. The Metalux 4ft Utility Wrap Light works great. It was an easy two person installation due to the size. Installed in our garage and provides a good amount of light in our work area. It is a great looking light as well. Love the sleek design and the bright white color of the fixture itself. The LED provides the perfect light. Great quality and cost-effective, lasting 23 years!

Metalux wraparound light is perfect lighting for a craft room, garage, perhaps kitchen. It comes with 4000 lumens which is a good illumination. What is a good idea on this light fixture is that the light wraps around the light fixture. So it doesn’t just project light below, it also illuminates the sides. Leaving more illumination throughout the room. We haven’t installed it yet because it is wire installation and currently what we have in the garage where this fixture will be going is plug in. Maybe it would be good to mention this in the front of the box so one is aware. But if you already have wired fixture, replacing it with this one should be simple.

I installed it in my laundry room and the soft white light with 4000 lumens provides more than enough of the light I need. I like how the light fixture can be suspended using V-hook hangers and Y toggles or directly on any surface. Installing this utility wrap light is easy thanks to the step-by-step instructions included inside the box.

Our basement has light again!

We needed a light in our basement where we have our laundry and I can think of a better wraparound that this one. The installation was easy. The brightness is 4000lumens of cool white light which covers our 100sq feet basement and laundry room.

I use this in my garage because we have recessed lighting but sometimes I don’t need to turn on 10 lights just to get one thing and I have a mini pantry made in my garage, so these lights were perfect for that. It just clicks on with a button and is super bright and doesn’t require 10 overhead lighting to turn on specially, at night time when I’m just grabbing something! I also cook in my garage, and the covering of the light makes it so that it doesn’t get oily/dusty

It is LED integrated UNV 120/277V two lamp over 4,000 lumen. This went perfectly in my utility room. It's so much brighter than the old light that I had in my laundry room. I can see things so much easier. This was extremely easy to install. The LED technology will save up to $179 when using this amazing light. It has a 5-year warranty. Lasts up to 23 years. I really do like the textured shade of this utility light. I highly recommend this light if you are looking to brighten up your space.

awesome bright light

this Metalux 4000 Lumens 4000k cool white 120-volt white integrated LED wraparound light is sturdy and bright . with its easy installation this light is perfect for a garage or patio light . I love walking out to my back porch being able to see my whole path where I am walking !

I removed 2 fluorescent ceiling lights and replaced them with 4 Metalux LED ceiling lights. The additional lumens made the difference in night and day. I had previously installed 2 ceiling fans from Home Depot. Now I can enjoy my garage more than ever before.

NOT 4000 Lumens (it's on the box!)

Ordered yesterday, arrived today. Winning! Not so fast though. I thought I was ordering a 4000 Lumen, 34W, Bright White light as described in the product title and in the specifications/description. The box for the product when it arrives says differently. It's only 3409 Lumens. And it's only 32W. Oh yeah, and it says "soft white" not bright white as can be seen in the "specifications" tab for this product online. Live and learn.

The light itself works great and is nice and bright. The diffuser works well to spread light evenly. I wish it had punch outs for feeding conduit into the center of the lamp rather than just one hole at the top of the housing. That would make it more versatile without significantly marring the appearance of the light. Drilling a 7/8 hole on a flat metal surface like this is a bit tricky.

Nice bright light, rapid start, energy efficient. Replaced fluorescent tube fixture needing new ballast with this fixture. Same size, fit perfect, customer happy. Entire new fixture cost less than a replacement ballast for the old one.

Bright Light.....but

Initially we thought this was a great purchase, the lights are very bright and were great for the kitchen. Just finished installing them this afternoon in our kitchen. However, we used the wiring from the old lights and found you could see them through the cover. When trying to remove the cover so we could correct this, the cover cracked and broke! The cover seems to be very fragile.

I struggled with the removal of the plastic cover to the point of breaking it. The instructions are lacking clarity. The instruction directs to "push down", but that assumes it's lying with the cover upright. Further "pushing on the center", is that on the center lengthwise or crosswise. I searched for a video but to no avail. Predrilled mounting holes spaced at typical joist distaces would be halpful.

I bought these thinking they would be nice fixtures but they are about as cheaply made as can be. Thin and flimsy metal housings, it wouldn't even keep it's shape without using several screws to mount them. They literally bowed away from the ceiling until I put screws in all 4 corners. They are much brighter than a incandescent fixture but if I had to buy them again I'd buy something else. I thought I was getting something quality from the Cooper Metalux name but I was mistaken. I can't say how long they will last but my impression so far is they are pretty low quality and if given the choice to buy them again I'd buy something else. I only give them 2 stars because they did indeed light up and work so far.
