I installed these in a new salon and they look great. I'm really picky about color output of lights, these are very neutral not too blue and not to orange. The specs are 3500k and that seems about right.

I had one of these with 2 - 36w U-shaped tubes in it. Same size as this but lower quality and quantity of light. This thing lights up the area way better and I don't have to worry about the costs of the tubes any more!! Very bright! It weighs considerably less than the fluorescent fixture since it doesn't have a ballast. The install was a piece of cake too!

Installing new lights in my workshop and these fit the bill. Allows me to put the most light where I want it.

Love this light . Twice as bright as my fluorescents and burns 1/4 of the juice. Will slowly replace all my fluorescents with these. Simple to install.

Excellent for laundry room

I wanted to brighten up my laundry room that had 3 fluorescent light fixtures. I was looking for LED fixtures and found this led Troffer light fixture. Upon opening the box and looking at the LED strips my first thought was "Yeah, I'll be returning this". I didn't have much expectations for light output. But I installed it anyway. HOLY BAT SIGNAL! I'M BLIND!! I ended up installing one more fixture and the room is brighter that it was with the 3 fluorescent fixtures. The fixtures don't come with instructions but it's pretty easy to figure out. I would recommend this light.

early design -- needs to be reengineered

This luminaire has more glare than fluorescent equivalent. The LEDs are mounted in two strips and not well diffused. A better design would be LED edge-lit panel having uniform luminance.

Excellent LED light for basement

I bought the troffer lights to light a basement with a dropped ceiling. There were no instructions at all, but once I figured out how to install and connect them, it was simple. They are great lights. I replaced about 1500 watts of lights with about 200 watts and got better lighting.
