Having the extra twin bed makes a lot of difference. My son was able to have his bestie stay over without having to share the same bed. This bed is strong and has a beautiful appearance.

We love our Metro Bed and Trundle! They took longer to put together than I had hoped, but the quality is great. Good, solid, heavy wood and solid hardware... Clear diagrams for how to assemble things... And they arrived amazingly quickly. I ordered on Wednesday, and the set was here on Friday!

I bought this bed a year ago and I'm currently loving it as the quality is fabulous. The bed is very comfortable with the mattress and the wooden panels are holding up really well. The trundle is also easy to pull out and push back in.

I bought these beds for each of my kids rooms. They will be perfect for future sleepovers. I also like to keep the trundle out a foot that becomes a perfect step for my 4 year old to climb in and out of bed. The wood is a nice cherry walnut color and a nice look for the affordable price.

Exactly what I wanted! Easy to put together and looks great. I bought this for my teenager so her friends could have a bed of their own. So far they love it!

The assembly manuals were too confusing. There are lots of paint chipping on the headboard. Not very sturdy. The holes were not align. You need way more of patience on this.

Excellent quality with some notes to help

Excellent quality and very easy to put together. Looks very good and is sturdy. Couple notes. 1. There is no panel for the trundle on the other side. So in the example picture above it's actually open on the left side. I would recommend putting the open side against a wall or closer to it. 2. It's not in the description, but the trundle can handle about a 10" mattress max. I would probably do an 8" just to be safe. 3. There's only about 2" from the slats to the top of the frame, so if you get some huge mattress like a 14" or something it'll very tall. Stick to a 10-12 on top max. 4. The trundle doesn't sit flush with the side when it's closed. It bumps out about the thickness of the trundle panel. I'll put a picture up.

Very low quality and safety concerns

It looks great from pictures, but was very disappointed after opening and assembly. There we so much of wood dust that we started sneezing and wood dust all over our clothes. Holes were either missing or were not aligned in several places. No way to secure the slats properly and can easily fall off. If kids jump on the bed, the side rails can easily come out. Lastly, the trundle side rails literally touch the floor and is not sturdy to hold a mattress.

Bought this for my 11 year old son. Very easy to put together, and also very nice looking. It upgraded the look in his room. Love how easy the trundle slides in and out for ease of use.

Good quality

I think the quality of this is very good for the price and it wasn't too hard to put together. The trundle pull out part isn't anything substantial, but serves the purpose. We also haven't gotten the mattress yet for the trundle, so that may make a difference once we add it in.

I bought this bed for my teenage son. It is beautiful. Made out of good wood. Espresso color. The trundle is a great added piece. It really makes my son's room look great.

I was very happy with this purchase. My footboard was damaged in shipping and I contact Overstock they are working on sending me a replacement one. We chose to not use the box spring as it made the bed to high. The bed was not too bad to put together, it took approximately 1 1/2-2 hours. Pay attention to direction details.

This turned out to be a great bed for our son. I really have no complaints about it. It was just as it looked in the pictures. It was delivered in good condition. I would recommend it.

This is a great looking bed, and very sturdy, there was one downfall, the front piece of the trundle was warped and the bed had a few small scratches on it. We needed the bed ASAP so unfortunately we didn't have time to return it for an exchange. Overall it was definitely worth the $$, but quality control should have noticed the warped front.

My son loves his new bed frame! It'll be nice having an extra bed for when he has a friend over. My husband was quite suprised with the quality and how well it went together. Would definitely recommend.

This bed was exactly what I was needing for my sons room! He often has friends over or his younger brother will want to have a camp out in his room. This was the perfect solution and kept us from having to have a million blankets on the floor or pain in the butt air mattresses! It was fairly easy to put together however required at least two people just to cut down on time and headache. The trundle is fairly light and easy to pull in and out.

My daughter loves her bed. Easy to assemble looks just like the image. Trundle bed is great, as well. Very solid piece. Has survived a pretty active 9 yr old and friends for the last 9 months!

I most likely wouldn't order it again!

I received this bed in a full size w/ the drawers underneath. Some of the wood is lighter than other pieces, overall it seems to be an okay bed. I would recommend putting something under it to give it more stability. My order was also missing a hardware package which included the screws that we needed to put the bed together, so we had to go & purchase what we needed.
