These chairs may outlast me!

This is my second purchase of these chairs. The first set lasted 13 years. The quality and feel is loved by my clients!

For the price the quality is suspect. One of the chairs had tool marks on it which leads me to believe it was a return that was sent back out, it was much harder to get the pieces to fit compared to the other chair. The finish comes off easily. No extra screws and the quality control was lacking, as there was material left in the screw holes which made getting the screws to seat difficult. Not likely to buy Boss products again.

Nice color, great appearance, comfy seat. The wood does look like it might not last. not recommended for high volume seating area because of the durability.

Very comfortable, sturdy chairs, I highly recommend them, except for putting them together. They are a bit challenging and one of the chairs was cross treaded, which made it even more difficult.

Cheaply made. Came with chips In it already. The laminate wood legs literally chipped just putting it together. If it wasn’t such a pain and if I didn’t have the exact color paint marker on hand would have returned it.

Great chair!

This chair is great. Very comfortable and sturdy. Not too hard to put together. The wood finish on the handles is nicer than i expected, and the upholstery is high quality.

wrong size screws for the last assembly step.

Chair looks nice but while assembling I am facing difficulties. I have received wrong size C2 screws as it seems that screws are smaller than the holes. I hope I can resolve the issue by getting right size screws as I and my wife spent significant amount of time putting this together for my dad who is anxiously waiting to get his new toy.

Do Not Recommend! Horrible Quality!

Absolutely trash! I ordered 6 of these chairs for my office and each one of them had something wrong. Some needed longer screws to attach the seat to the legs. Several chairs had loose inserts (where the screw screws into) on the wood piece of the base under the seat and had to purchase wood glue to try and keep it from coming out. The screw would pull the insert out from the wood. Another chair had two big chipped pieces of wood on the legs. The holes on the sides of the chair, where you attach the seat to the base of the chair, were not cut properly for the screw to insert. I had to get scissors and cut the the foam backing out in order to get the screw to go in. The seat sits straight up and is not at all comfortable. Yes, we should have better posture, but I bought these for my office where my clients will use them. Within a week of having them, I have already had several clients mention that they had never sat in a chair like this one. I wish I had noticed the picture shows how the seat sits straight up. This is by far the worst purchase I've ever made. After I purchased them, I see they are now *** off. I do not recommend! $*** down the drain. This was my first purchase with Overstock.com and will be my last.

2nd one of these thatI've purchased.

Bought one of these about five years ago as a guest chair for my office. After five years, still looks and feels like new (although, I don't have a lot of traffic in my office), so getting another was a no-brainer. Only down side is that it was a bit difficult to assemble as you literally have to force some bolts and holes to line up, but it is made that way so that everything fits perfectly and tightly. Instructions were anything but great, but using the pictures, assembly was pretty much intuitive.

The chair is what as advertised. It took about an hour and a half to put together the first chair and an hour for the second chair. Quality is decent. Now we wait for wear and tear..

We bought ten of these to put around a conference table. Everyone that comes in says they are beautiful and those that sit them say they are comfortable. Sat in one at a three-hour board meeting and was completely comfortable the entire time.

I really like the look and comfort of these chairs. They are very substantial. However, Some of the wood was scratched when all the chairs arrived, and I didn't notice as we ordered many and I wasn't the one who put them together, but many of the screw covers are a different color "wood." Would appreciate it we could get some of those covers in the correct color. I would definitely buy these again for our office. Beautiful.

Difficult to assemble

I gave this chair a 3 star rating because it is very difficult to assemble. Holes do not line up correctly, putting the cushions together and lining them up was very difficult. One of the receptors for the screw in the base came out. Overall, the chair is ok. Not as comfortable as it appears.

Nice for office guest seating

Good value, and I've had many compliments already on the look and comfort of these chairs. A little hard to attach the seats to the frame if you don't leave the screws loose until all are in place, but otherwise not bad to assemble. Overall very satisfied. They look more expensive than they actually were.

Love these chairs. Put them in the Pastor's office and they look very professional. But most of all...they are comfortable. Plus, they are a little higher off the ground, which makes it easy to get out of. Would highly recommend them.

I bought 4 of those chairs for my conference room. They look very nice and upholstery feels very subtle on touch. However,when you sit it feels like a little upright and not as laid back like when you want to feel when relax. But for my space it was perfect as I have a limited space in my room. If you want more laid back position there is an identical chair "Harrison Guest Chair" but it will take a little more space.

Stylish and Sturdy

Beautiful and sturdy chair. Good value for the price. We are using the chair at a computer desk where we did NOT want wheels, and desired something more stylish to match the primary desk chair. We had a little difficulty attaching the seat cushion bolts -- it would help if there was a metal guide around the pre-drilled hole on the cushion to assist with aligning and inserting the bolt.
