My husband and I use these awesome barstools at our large kitchen island every morning for breakfast and sometimes at dinner. They are extremely comfortable. They look wonderful with my decor. So glad we purchased these.

They are a little hard but hopefully that means they will with stand the test of time and won't look worn and old quickly. They are very heavy which has it's positives and negatives.

Comfy, Sturdy, and Attractive

I bought this stool recently after I've been looking for well over a year for a new kitchen remodel. I wanted a black stool, not brown-black, but black to match our matte black sink, faucet, & hardware. My husband's demand was for it to be comfy with padding, comfy to lean back on, & large enough seat and not to break/fall over when sitting in. It is definitely a stool a typical man could use and not destroy. I could definitely tell a difference in quality with this stool, it is very well made. The base doesn't rock and made with strong metal, the backrest is sturdy. The cushion is thick, true black, and I can wipe it off if food spills, great for a kitchen! It swivels, which was a must for me. The seat is deep enough so that you feel like your not falling forward. I'm very pick on back rests, but this one seems to have the right positioning. Not too up and down, but rather a comfy slight leaning back, even when my husband was leaning way back.
