Well designed. Takes a lot long than an hour and a half for one person to assemble. Eaasy to believe it will handle adult weight.

Horrible customer service

Bed is beyond warranty but broke at a knot. Asked to BUY the broken board, not for free, and they said if they can’t find your order, you can’t buy the part. What a horrible policy. Felt like she blamed me and got upset when o asked for a supervisor and said I’d leave a negative review - then sent me to voicemail. I’d avoid buying from them. Fixed it the best I could. Just can’t believe a company won’t take my money to buy a part to fix a bed I own. Wow. I’d avoid at all cost.

Impressed with quality

All pieces accounted for (they even give you a little extra hardware) and none of them flawed. Entirely real wood. No particle board pieces at all. Finish was perfect. All pre-drilled holes were perfect. Instructions couldn't have been easier to follow. This was by far the best "you put it together" piece of furniture I have ever purchased.

Love this trundle bed. It did take a little while to assemble, but the result is sturdy with an appealing appearance. The modern wood finish looks great. Since it is a bed, it's a bit deep when used as a couch, so I'll need to get a bunch of throw pillows to lean back on. The lower bed frame is easy to maneuver and rolls nicely. And it was delivered a couple days after the order was placed! 👍 Edited to add: pay attention when buying the bottom mattress. It needs to be 7" thick or smaller. If you want to keep covers on the bed, 6" is probably best.

Color differs from photo and poor quality

The bed is more orange in color. I have only had the bed about 5 months and the front board cracked just from the act of going from sitting on the bed to standing up. I really wanted to love this bed for my daughters room. I kept it even though the color was not exactly what I wanted but I am very sad the quality of the bed is so poor. Unfortunately I bought the bed when Hayneedle still had their own website so now there is nothing I can do.

Laid out all parts on floor first to see what was really involved. Was a 2++ hrs project. Saw that screws for the slats under mattress would be too long if they all went into the thin side support rails. Bought slightly wood screws to take stress off those thin side rails but also to screw the daybed slats to the center rail provided. With those adjustments very satisfied with sturdiness. Also bought buttons for upper bed frame. Bed made in Brazil of native soft woods like American pine had thin factory spray finish that can scratch or dent, fyi. For the price point, Home Depot won over Wayfair and 2 other websites which had the identical product and 2 finishes from Brazil. We love it as we built it.

Extremely solid. Deceptively simple to assemble although I would recommend (a) a power drill with phillips and allen wrench attachments and a rubber mallet; and (b) a second person nearby for a few steps (although I did assemble it allone). Great value for the price.

Although I'm giving this 5 stars, I think the directions could have been more detailed. Eventually figured it out though. It was rewarding to finish. The wheels from the trundle scratch the legs of the bed. At the end of the day, it's a beautiful bed and is exactly what I am looking for for my sons room!!

I would definitely recommend this daybed to anyone! It looks great, it was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

The quality of the bed and mattress that came with it are good. Better than expected.

Great bed.

This became our kid's bed when he turned three. It's been 3 years since and we're very happy with it. It is very sturdy. The pull-out trundle has been very useful for sleepovers with friends.

As described, scratches very easily. Would not put in a kids room that will stand up to heavy usage.
