The seat has a sleek design and looks great in our office- I love the color too which is easy to match furniture! It was very easy to assemble. So far it seems to be very stable when sat on. I wish the seating had a better padding so it can be more comfortable but it’s fine as our plan for it is more of a decor piece.

I love my new INK+IVY Novak Lounge Chair in Teal. I would have never guessed that a simple yet very unique chair would be so comfortable. The assembly was surprisingly easy. The elm wood finish on the solid wood frame and round arms definitely gives it a chic mid-century look. This eye catching piece is literally the best part of my nephews reading corner! I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I have been looking for an accent chair for my living room for a while so I was super excited to receive this chair because the colors work great with my decor. It was pretty easy to assemble and the parts feel very sturdy so I’m not worried about the durability. The seat cushion is very thick and firm. It’s a super cute accent chair and great new reading chair for me!

This chair is very stylish and sleek, I think it would work well in a lot of different homes and spaces. It's fairly comfortable, nice for reading a book in but certainly not the most cozy, curl-up-in-all-day kind of chair. The cushions are firm but not uncomfortable. The chair overall seems very well made: the wood arms are sturdy and look beautiful and the fabric on the cushion seems durable and feels soft. I was able to put the chair together by myself in about an hour, it definitely helps to keep all the screws loose until you have everything in place. I wasn't able to get the cross bar under the seat to be fully secured, but the chair still feels stable even though that bar is slightly wiggly. Overall this chair seems very high quality and I'm looking forward to getting more use out of it in my home.

Beautiful chair! Super solid. Was easy to put together with very clean instructions. Love the color. The only negative was the smell from the fire retardant was very strong and off putting at first. But it airs out. Now I love it!

Comfortable and Well Made

This chair is so comfortable and very solid for a small chair. We needed a low profile chair and this one is perfect. It is used daily and still looks as if it has never been used. Very easy to clean. Exceptional purchase.

This is the second item I’ve received from Ink and Ivy and I must say, I’m OBSESSED with their pieces! Their items are high quality, durable and beautiful... this chair is no exception! It’s quite flexible, design wise. Though it’s a mid century modern piece, it works well with many other styles. The fabric is beautiful and durable. The cushion looks more squishy than it really is, as the seat is quite firm. I can’t wait to try more products by this brand!

This chair seems to be made of high quality materials and looks beautiful once assembled. The directions were clear and easy to follow, the only issue I had was there was not spot for the final screws but not putting them in does not affect the structure of the chair. It has a low profile and a bit of a retro look. We really love how it looks with our similar furniture! However, if you have trouble getting down into low chairs or need extra support up your back you may want to consider something else. The cushions are firm, but not uncomfortable and they seem very durable!

Beautiful lounge chair and very easy to put together. Fabric is very comfortable when sat on and looks like it will be easy to clean. Very strong as well but not a heavy chair. Love the color and the bit of contrast with the side arms.

Easy to assemble, the wood frame is very smooth, it sits low but it exceptionally comfortable. The price was reasonable, the fabric color is exactly as pictured on website.....it fits our space perfectly! Nothing I don't like!

Got two of these chairs. Really like them. Low to the ground, but comfortable. Look very nice in our front room. The fabric is as expected and doesn't show dirt. Texture to the fabric gives interest.

Great stylish chair!

Great quality chair that looks twice the price! Definitely takes two people to put together to get enough torque on the arms to put the bolts in place. Assembly was pretty straight forward, since there are just a few pieces! Low and roomy seat. Seems very high quality materials, and a great style piece to add to my living room upgrade. I draped a faux sheepskin over it just for some texture (and I've always wanted one :-p), but the fabric is comfortable and doesn't need anything on top. Highly recommend!

Cute, rustic and affordable chairs

I think these chairs are a great value (they're a great "dupe" for very similar chairs at ***** that are both slightly more expensive, and are also frequently out of stock). My only complaint is that the chairs were a little difficult to put together. The pieces didn't always lay flush, and it wasn't clear in some cases which screws and washers went where. But ultimately, I did put two of the chairs together by myself, and I think they really complete my kitchen's seating area. Very happy!

Cute chair! not an easy assembly

Cute chair, great for this space. I did have some difficulty assembling. Had my sister there with me and there were multiple points where we had to push or pull pieces to get them fit right. Also, it seemed there were two wooden dowel pieces missing, which made the stretcher (horizontal piece toward the front) difficult to install. That piece is a bit wobbly, but doesn't interrupt use of the chair. I think I would buy again all things considered.

UPDATE: I have had these chairs for over a year now. They withstood the test of time (and of cat claws). Still flawless, solid. Really happy with them! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Looks exactly like the photo. I bought a pair of these chairs in an effort to redesign a living room, and they're a nice light tan color. They were easy to construct by myself as well - just don't tighten screws all the way until the very last step. They have a bit of a chemical smell that needs airing, and they're very firm... don't expect to sink in to these cushions. Elegant though! Now for shelves...

Great for the price.

For the price it's fine. Assembly isn't difficult since you're just attaching the side arms to the cushions, but holy moly do the instructions suck. Would have been able to assemble in 10 mins if the instructions were better. Had to unscrew and re screw the bolts in different sequences to get everything to line up. Chair is uneven and it does bug me, but what a pain to return (see photo). I'm hoping it'll eventually settle the more I sit in it. Update: This chair is very comfortable. I eventually got a rug and put one leg on the rug, which fixed the wobbly/uneven chair leg problem. Upgrading to 4 stars.

Perfect Modern Chair

I had been looking on many sites for a chair like this, and found it over and over again, however, when I saw on Overstock and that it was a few dollars less than I'd seen advertised on other sites, I decided to purchase here. Honestly when I opened the box, I was disappointed - not with the chair itself, but the color. I thought the color I was purchasing was 'cream', and as you can see from my photo, this chair is not cream. I actually attempted to reach customer service, but due to Covid-19, no phone calls are being taken, and the only option I had was to email in which the site stated it would be 3-5 days for a reply, therefore, I said forget it and decided to make it work. Not worth the hassle. This is why I give '4' stars in stead of 5 simply because this chair IS NOT cream, but yet and still it's a beautiful chair and I've made it work. Constructed nicely and the seat and back are both firm. The wood-tone is more like a pecan which is nice. It works for my space!

Blue /Natural Lounge Chair

I was hesitant about purchasing these chairs after reading the negative reviews. Continued to check prices between ******* and Overstock. Overstock was $*** cheaper (not the first time, best deals at Overstock). Not only did I save a chunk of money but the products came fast (despite the covid crisis) and in great condition. I put both chairs together with no problem and absolutely love the light blue fabric and these chairs. So happy with my purchase and my experience with Overstock!
