Love it! Excellent quality! Due to others’ reviews I give it a brief touch with a towel so the minerals in the water don’t leave a white residue. Looks great after much use!
Too big unfortunately
Unfortunately it is too big for my drainer. I should have noticed its measurements more closely. Bit annoyed because it looks like it would have suited my needs perfectly
Wow! very impressed. Same size as my old wire one. But this can fit way more dishes than my old one. This how i stacked mine.
Best Dishrack on the market!
I was searching for a new dish rack after my old one was once again all rusty and busted. I decided to get a pricier rack as I was sick of buying the crappy anko brand stuff every year. Needless to say I am thrilled with this purchase. A sleek design upheld by its sturdy construction, this Brabantia dish rack is the Lamborghini of all racks. It has completely transformed my kitchen making it feel newer and spacier, and one could not be faulted for confusing it with an apple Mac or some other luxury technology. The sloped stand drains all the water quickly too, so I have high hopes for its longevity. Do yourself a favour and treat your kitchen to this rack, you won’t regret it!!
Great quality dish rack and perfect compact size for my needs. I have a dish washer and really use this rack for one-off items when I don't want to use the dish-washer. Very happy with Brabantia!
I ordered this in Dark Grey and was pleasantly surprised. The color is close enough to black to look great on the new black granite counter top of my redesigned kitchen. I'm not sure how well it will drain into the sink but I have some observations that may be helpful. First it is sturdily built. Second, unlike the other dish racks I saw, particularly on the Prime site, this one doesn't have a bunch of gimmicky add-ons, like wine glass racks, double stacking tiers, etc. Before I purchased this one I tried some of those and they were flimsy, poorly manufactured, and more poorly designed with elements that didn't fit properly. This is a simple design, with a silverware holder that is the right size for standard forks and knives. It has a good sized flat section that will work for pots and/or pans as well as glasses and cups. And it looks good. Clean lines and modern. It may only be a dish rack, but it will be visible all the time. Might as well have one that is attractive as well as functional. I haven't been able to test the rack portion for plates yet, so fingers crossed. But this is the best thing out there that I was able to find. And you'll see these at high end kitchen retailers for a much higher price. Hope that helps.
Love this! I looked forever for a dish rack that was low profile yet held dishes in a way that they'd dry faster than anything completely flat. This being because it sits next to the sink on the island. Didn't want anything sticking up too far and got tired of trying to balance dishes on a drying mat. Highly worth the cost and recommended!!
Pretty good overall
We're happy with our new dish rack from Brabantia. The slope is really effective, no water on the worktops, it seems to be very sturdy and high quality and our large plates stand up well (I did note other reviewers have had issues with this, not a problem for us). The ideal situation would be a modular design where the cutlery tray could be moved about with the dishrack for ultimate flexibility, but this is a very small issue. It's not the largest tray, so if we didn't have the dishwasher, I would want a larger or more flexible tray, but I did manage to load quite a lot on it yesterday and everything felt very secure. It certainly looks good, and I think there is substance as well as style.
Posh looking but pretty useless for large plates!
Bought this after trying the Joseph and Joseph extending drainer which was large and clunky. By comparison this looks really sleek and great in the kitchen, however as other reviewers have attested - larger / deeper plates just fall over no matter how you try and place them in. We have some cheap shallow plates which stay in but our deeper denby ones just fall - we were lucky not to have one smash. A real shame as other than the plkate issue, this seems very good quality, but only 3 stars as it can't fulfil its core purpose.
Just bought a 2nd one
Highly recommend. Very sturdy and nice looking dish rack. I can see where others think the plates fall but you have to figure out the best way for them not to (it's not a design flaw). Have purchased a replacement as my old one has gotten some limescale in places that I can't get off.
Stylish dish rack
I didn't think a dish rack could be stylist but this one is! It's inconspicuous and I like that you can fold it away if you want a clear countertop. It also holds a surprising amount - tall glasses can fit underneath.
Am very pleased with this dish drainer
The drainer looks smart and is very stable, holding plates, cutlery and pans securely. Light grey colour is pleasing. It's easy to clean and looks good in my kitchen. Was at a good price.
Modern, nice look. Good quality
Modern, nice look. Good quality product. Highly recommended! (Automatically translated by DeepL)
I wanted to love this. I wanted a Dish rack that had a low profile so it wouldn’t stand out. But the way the dish holder pieces are shaped and the dishes don’t stand up right is disappointing. Not much room for cups either. Only good part is the utensil holder is large and sturdy. Too expensive.
Excellent product
I came across this drying rack at a cottage we stayed in on holiday and thought the drip tray design was absolutely brilliant. We have granite worktops in our kitchen and I have found with normal drying racks that the water just gathers on the granite and needs to be regularly wiped away. This drying rack has a tray underneath which is angled towards the sink and returns all drips to the sink and down the drain.
Beautiful but drip rack is plastic and warps so the water leaks onto the counter. The old one did that. Hence the reason I was looking for replacement. On the plus side the drying rack is turdy and the utensil holder sits firmly.
Very Poorly Made
I wish I'd read the reviews before I bought this. It's very badly designed. Plates do not fit. They all fall forwards. Don't waste your money. I wish I could take it back but I started using it!
Expensive design failure
Plate (of various sizes) don't stand up, there is little room for glasses if you have anything other than saucers on the rack. Makes a horrible scrapping noise when plates are added or removed.
Love it!
I bought this a few months ago and I am so pleased with it. So many drying racks I was shopping for were eyesores that I would not have wanted to see in my kitchen every day. This drying rack is perfect in that regard! It blends in with the rest of my kitchen and is easy to store away when needed. The rack works great and is also very easy to clean. 10/10 recommend!
Excellent if you're short on space
I think this drainer manages to blend both style and function really well. It's got really clean lines and the combination of grey and metal looks really smart. Practically, the fact that you can remove the cutlery holder makes it really easy when you come to clear the rack and put things away. Having the base and the rack gives you a good amount of space and I like that you can use the base on its own for larger items. The fact that it folds and can be put away means that it's ideal if you're short on worktop space. The only minor downside is that, unlike the larger brabantia draining rack, it doesn't have a lip that enable the water to run into the sink - although that might be a positive if you don't have space next to your sink.
