The molding really completes the look of these gorgeous ceiling tiles but I found the glue messy to work with here. The tile were very easy to work with!

This product is a nice

This product is a nice finish to the ceiling tiles we put up. The mitered corners work better if they are glued to each other before being glued to the ceiling/wall. Aligning them against the ceiling/wall otherwise does not work well because they slip up and down the wall and ceiling trying to get the miter to line up. The seams cannot be aligned perfectly either if the wall or ceiling is out of square. But the mis-alignment is not noticeable without a close inspection.

I purchased ceiling tiles and a few months later ordered custom painted crown molding to match. Unfortunately, the crown I received didn’t match because DC Tiles sent me a different finish. They offered to repaint the crown, but because of time constraints, I asked for a credit for the custom painting process and said that I would repaint them myself. Instead of crediting me for just the painting, DC Tiles credited me for the entire crown molding order. The company told me what kind of paint to use and I painted them myself, which was so easy. Not many companies offer such great customer service! The ceiling tiles and crown molding look amazing!

Crown Molding

I bought the 3 inch crown in 6 1/2 foot lengths, enough to do my master bedroom and dressing area. I am a petite single woman and I had installed regular wood crown by myself in my lr/dr/kitchen. It was such a big job (though it turned out beautifully) that I swore off crown forever. Finally, I caved and thought I would try the Styrofoam for my bedroom. It looks beautiful! You could never tell that it is not wood. It weighs nothing and the glue purchased from DCT works great. One recommendation: Buy the corners. I thought I could do the mitered cuts, since I did it with the wood molding. However, this has a curved back and it is much harder to get a tight miter. I ended up going to HD and buying their wood corners. With everything painted white, it looks gorgeous and you can't tell the wood from the Styrofoam. I highly recommend this product!
