Nice....but....

Nice metal frame. Kind of difficult to put together. The concern I have is the laminated particle board used. It is quite cheap. It's great until I have to move this desk.

Long Assembly with many pieces a

Desk requires 2 ppl to assemble. It has over 50 pieces. Moderate to Hard assembly. Not sure who is on jere saying its easy. It took 3.5 to 6 hours to assemble unless you are a carpenter. Then it may take 2 hours.

30 steps to put it together. Over 3 hours. Things don't line up. Press board breaks and splinters. I've put together a lot of furniture in my time, press board included. AVOID. FLAMING PIECE OF GARBAGE. I'm beyond unimpressed--Sauder is usually better than this. This is just awful. What a waste of money.

Outstanding Work Desk

I bought this desk about a month ago and it was shipped a few days early. Overall an excellent product. My only complaint would be wish they would had used standard screws instead of fancy ones because made it more difficult to put together yet overall finish is great. It has a vintage classic look to it that matches my interior.

exactly what I was looking for

Great product, great price. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find a desk that was reasonably priced, decent size/height, and functionality, and most if all … anything useful. This one did require that I had to put it together and all, but its actually pretty soild. This desk looks pretty nice too. Way more leg room than I thought. Only thing I would change: add a small lip so I dont worry about pushing monitor or pen rolling off the back and maybe an add on basket or loop underneath for power and other cables. Not as wide as I thought, I’m okay with that though, its enought for all my devices and keyboards. Other than that, looks great and worth every penny!

Slightly Disappointing

While this product is very sturdy, the actual assembly process is a complete chore. The instructions are very convoluted. You essentially build this in three pieces instead of placing all of the pieces together continuously, which is great if you have a friend helping you build it and I highly recommend doing so if you aren't going to request home assembly. The top of the desk itself scratched very easily which was a massive bummer.

This desk is perfect for me! I was sure of the function I needed out of it and that it needed to be visually appealing. I also knew that I wanted to stay within a specific price range. I'm pleasantly surprised at the finished product. The assembly was relatively simple if you follow the instructions exactly. There were a couple of really difficult steps that the instructions just skimmed over, specifically putting the slide rails into the desk. It took about 45 minutes for me to figure out how to get the first one to work and then the second one went way faster! You'll need a smaller screwdriver to make this work and the manual doesn't tell you that. Otherwise, my salesman was awesome and very helpful and I'm a satisfied customer!

Great desk

Love this desk! First of all, it was soooo easy to put together. The instructions tell you exactly what screws to use where and everything is properly labeled so you should have no problems finding what you need. Took us maybe 3-4 hours to put together. It is sturdy as well, and very attractive. The drawers were a bit difficult but I always struggle with drawers, and while it is lightweight, it does seem to be able to bear weight. It is working perfectly for a small home office and since it is l shape, it can be placed in any corner and look good.

Perfect desk for our sudden need for a workspace for distance learning. The frame is super-solid, and the finish on the desktop is awesome. The drawers are super-handy. Got two and the kids are very happy with them. as mentioned by other reviewers, assembly is not quick, but if you know how to use a screwdriver, you have all the skills you need to put this together. If you have back problems, get someone to help you with lifting, because the box is pretty heavy.
