I bought this birdbath and stand based on the diagram that showed the stand would put the bath at 34.5 inches tall on my deck. Birdbath arrived, but it is only 29 inches high because the legs are not what is shown on the diagram; they are curved at the foot, instead of angled straight legs. I have emailed for a response, and have received only newsletters, no reply.
FEDEX delivered the package all torn apart, with 4 holes in the box. and the bottom flap torn open. DID anything fall out ??? ...Hoping that my husband's Christmas present is OK. Could not check out the item, he was here when the package arrived. Wrapped it so he wouldn't see what is was Hopefully his gift is OK. That being said...I have NEVER been disappointed with anything I ordered from Wayfair in the past.... Just keeping my fingers crossed for this one. Wayfair should have placed this package in another box....NOT shipped as it would have come off the shelf in any store. original box in another
Bird Bath is A Hit
I have mounted the bath on my deck railing for the winter water. It works out well and provides nice unfrozen water for all my backyard birds. Once warmer weather arrives I will mount the waterer on the stand that is provided and place it in my perennial flower bed.
Love this bird bath!
I just love this bird bath! I have had several different over the years & where the top screws to the base and doesn’t stay level or stay attached decent. Had no trouble with the winter winds but did use stakes that came with it & so easy to tip & refill. My husband is happy will be easier to move when mowing this yr also. Bought a 2nd one I liked so much.
Nice!
Works well and easy to clean. Birds love to drink and bathe. Very nice looking as well.
Birds love this all winter
The birds and squirrels love this bird bath all winter long. It has a little trouble keeping up in prolonged -20 degrees, but who/what doesn't? I have mine on the deck next to the door and it is used year round!
Great bird bath
So far the birds love it. They bathe in it and drink. Not cold enough to see if no ice forms.
Year round bird bath! Easy to maintain.
Great all weather heated bird bath. Easy assembly.
LOVE IT
Best heated bird bath ever. Birds love it. Fun to watch them splash around in the winter
Miller Bath with stand
The bath is excellent. The stand is not durable.
Love this! Sturdy and works well.
heated bird bath
Bowl is sturdy haeter works welk so far.Legs are kind of cheap.
Great So Far!
This has been a great addition to the garden. I'm interested to see how it holds up over temps in the minus teens.
Birds and I love it
Love it. The wind empties the bowl prematurely. Guess it has to be shallow for the birds to play and for the heater to keep warm enough. THE BIRDS LOVE IT!! I Love it.
Bath works fine but stand is poor quality
The bird bath works fine, but the stand is very poor quality. The screws were already tight and easily stripped. I ended up buying a different stand. I wish I had originally bought only the bath without the stand.
Stand designed by 10 year old…
No amount of tightening sturdy up this stand. So many 1 and 2 star reviews point this out. Guess I should’ve read them before buying! Note that the company that makes these, Allied Precision, is fully aware of these complaints, yet does nothing to improve it.
Heated bird bath — the birds love it!
They stand is tricky to assemble. We have an older stand that we chose to use and it fits in the stand just fine.
Allied Precision not so precise
The stand for this bird bath is poorly designed. First, there are no directions. Second, no matter how tight one makes the bracket that hugs the legs, they still wobbled. I had to devise a workaround to stabilize the legs. Buyer beware.
Bath Great/ Flimsy Legs
The product itself would have been 5 stars but the stand assembly is awkward for one person and still a bit shaky because the screws only tighten so far. I had to use supporting metallic tape around the lower legs and upper arms to prevent collapse of the stand assembly. I like the upper ring to support the birdbath There are extra parts. I am assuming they are needed if you mount the birdbath to a deck? Who knows? The directions for assembly are horrible and a list of the included parts does not exist. What are that face plate and those two screws for?
Assembly is challenging
Assembling the legs of the base is difficult. One has to carefully align the three legs properly and, while holding them precariously in place, one must tighten the collar to hold them there. It requires more hands than I have.
