The shelf itself is fine but as others have stated, the provided hardware is totally inadequate. Also, the metal embedded disks on the back used to hang from the mounted screws were not secure at all and fell out when attempting to hang. I ended up screwing the shelf directly into studs from one of the back cross beams which I highly recommended due to shelf weight,

This shelf looks well made but we had real problems hanging it because the hardware provided doesn't match the brackets to hang it on. . The Zinc looking top provides a very nice shelf to put things on. The black hooks and braces on each end look really good and are strong for putting items on. The shelf is heavy since the wood and top are very sturdy and solidly made. On the back of it are two inserted brackets to hang the shelf on. I was surprised to see that it came with 4 screws to hang the shelf on but it only needs two of them to do that to put it on the wall. We determined where we wanted it hung on the wall and inserted one of the screws into the wall and attempted to hang that end on it and then align the other end level to put that screw in place. We could not get the screw to go into the hole in the back of the shelf. That is when we discovered that the screw provided has a head that is too big for the hole in the bracket. We ended up having to drill the hole in the bracket bigger so the screw would fit into it. Also we saw that the screws holding the bracket in place were not screwed all the way in. When we tighten the screws one of them in each bracket snapped off after turning them only a quarter of a turn. We finally got it hung after reworking the hardware attachments.
