Not real wicker but the plastic material is more durable anyway. Very large, so clothes are never spilling out. "Wicker like" weave provides ventilation.

I purchase the rug in September. In October, it needed to be washed and even though, I followed the label Instructions the Rug faded the navy-blue color blead into the cream color, and the rug was practically falling apart in the washing machine, to the point that my washing machine was plugged with the cotton particles.

The lid was broken but I think my husband can fix it. Smaller than I wanted. I should have measured. I would buy it again.

Current price is crazy

I bought this laundry bin two months ago for $25, and I've been very happy with it. Going ack to get a second and seeing this price of $95 is crazy. I wasn't THAT happy with it. Geeze. A lidded trashbin that you can step on to open cost less. I'll just get one of those for my laundry.

This is a nice hamper but shorter than I expected, so doesn't hold too much. Easy to use. I'm glad there is a cover.
