I used it once on a jar of applesauce, and one of the legs broke off. Waste of money.

Works Good

This works surprisingly well! You attach to can, press the button, and it begins! Cuts the can so there are no jagged edges. I got this because my arthritic hands won’t let me open cans with a manual one anymore. My only concern is how long the battery will last. I haven’t used it long enough to know.

I have arthritis and find it increasingly more difficult to open cans manually. This can opener does fine with most small - medium cans. But I frequently buy large (101 oz.) cans of green beans at my veterinarian's suggestion to supplement my dog's diet. This opener does not work well on those cans. If you only use the smaller cans, this would probably suit your needs just fine. I like that it comes in a few colors.

Bought this for my wife, Mother-in-law snatched it

Bought this for my wife and before I knew it I had to buy a second one because my mother-in-law had snatched it saying it frees her up from her carpal tunnel pain in the kitchen.

It works as it should

So far I have used this opener on a 16 ounce can and a 105 ounce can, and it worked well on both of them. I don't know how long the batteries will last since it is new for me. But it seems to do what is needed. It does cut through the top edge of the can, and it does leave a smooth edge on both sides, top and base.
