heavy and solid

I had to find the studs to anchor this shelf. It looks great and is not going anywhere. Pretty spacious ledge too. Using it next to a bed where there is not enough space for a bedside table.

Flawless, Strong, Simple.

Installed this in my kitchen to house some coffee machines. Looks amazing! Heavy and very strong construction. Strength of the shelf on the wall depends on your installation. I was able to hit a stud with the middle screw and used high end metal screw-type anchors for the two outside holes. Doesn't come with hanging hardware which I generally prefer because every situation calls for different hardware and I usually end up wasting it, anyway. I can quite literally hang on it with my method (I'm not recommending this but I wanted to know it was strong!). Love it! Been very happy with both Hive and my Blu Dot (through Hive) purchases. Best wall shelf we have tried!

Over the years, we have purchased many different types of wall shelves. This shelf is, by far, the best we have tried. Some highlights: 1) sleek design, 2) heavy-duty, high quality construction, 3) easy to install, 4) option to mount shelf in two different directions, 5) deeper than most floating shelves - nearly 8 inches. We plan on purchasing more of these shelves through Hive in the future!

simple, sturdy, modern

I had envisioned the perfect shelf for me without knowing that Hive had already designed it. I love the modern, stylish design coupled with the sturdiness and ease of installation. Kind of pricey, but totally worth it!

Love it!

We got a couple of those to clean up small stuff off the counter. We had a 48” wide nook and I was worried whether (2) smaller ones will fit side by side. The actual size of the shelf is just under 24” wide so two shelves fit perfectly side by side in 48” wide area. They seem sturdy and look beautiful. Install was easy as well. Would highly recommend.
