Doesn't remove or repair scratches

I bought this a month ago and while it does make the hardwood floor shiny, it doesn't repair the scratches. Initially it looks like it will, but once it dries, they are exactly the same as they were. Probably good if you only want to revive the dullness of the floor but it shouldn't claim to repair scratches because it doesn't. A bit pricey for reviving dullness - there are other similar products that do that for a lot less.

Never disappointed

Only use this product !!! High gloss is the best. I've used this for more than 10 yrs. It's shame that's it hard to come by. I also only use their floor cleaner. It maintain the floor shine.

Fantastic

I have used this product on oak hardwoods 85 yrs old that were greyish and scuffed so badly I thought only sanding and refinishing would help them. 2 coats and they looked good as new. The finish lasts much longer than the label says. Miracle product, easy to apply and very easy clean-up. Highly recommended.

Superb, esp. for low shine bamboo

If you want shine on a dull floor, this is your stuff. I have tried half a dozen others- nothing else shines. Bamboo floor owners- get it! I had wanted my bamboos- 17 years old now and going strong- to shine. This is the only thing that does it. Makes floors look almost pro clean and shiny- Dries super fast. Just be sure to be smooth and mop every inch of it or you end up with shiny splatter dots that are pretty hard to remove.

Awesome stuff, used on manufactured hardwood floor

Did a test in the closet to make sure it would work fine on manufactured hardwood floors since I was finding mixed opinions. Worked great on mine. Covered up a lot of pet scratches and made the floor look nice and darker. Did 2 coats. Tip, dont go too slow since if some section dries and you try to do the next, you will see the areas where you overlapped as the drier area will dull. Fixed this with a second coat and going quicker. Also make sure you have a second person to help look for spots that didnt get enough product. Before and after pics

I read the instructions including the warnings - effectively it might bubble - and followed the instructions to the letter. I now have spots on sections of my previously-beautiful hardwood floors. I tried Minwax cleaner. It did not remove the stuff. I then went online and read on the Minwax website that this stuff does NOT come off except by sanding. Nice surprise. This is apparently a paint/stain and should not be sold in the 'cleaner' department. Shame on you, Lowe's.

[Rewarded Review] Revived my floor!

I had my 100 year old floors sanded and polished in my new condo several months ago and then had a water stain that was pretty obvious. I used the mini wax hardwood floor reviver on just the area that had the water stain on it and it did a really good job. It was very noticeable before and hardly is noticeable at all now. No strong smell and easy to apply.

I have hardwood floors in my home office. There was an area where my chair rolls that had the finish worn off. After thoroughly cleaning the floor I used this as per the directions. I was surprised how well it worked. It does take some time to dry so keep that in mind when you're using this. It made my floor look 100% better. Easy to use and effective. I like it.

I recently ripped up carpet that was really old and my hardwood needed to be re-done. Hardwood was very dull and had no shine to them and they really needed a refinish. I cleaned, degreased, and rinsed my floors well for proper application. Application itself is very easy and really does make marginally worn floors look like new. I did it before going to bed so that my kids won't walk over it. Then end result in the morning is a great looking floor that looks perfect , shiny and glossy.

[Rewarded Review] A Great Product to Renew a Dull Hardwood Floor

Half of our house has hardwood flooring. After a while, it gets looking worn and somewhat dull, even if we are being extra careful. We use this Reviver and couldn't be happier with the results. It dries in a reasonable amount of time, and we can do it ourselves. The only downside to the process is that we need to remove furniture to do it properly, but this is unavoidable. Other than that, it really makes the floors shiny and great-looking.

I have the original hardware floors throughout my house. When I tell you they are full and had no like to them. I cleaned the floors to get up the dust and debris after the floor dried, I used a little of the reviver on an old rag. I did sections of the floor. This reviver revived my wooden floors. If give it life and a nice shine to it. I’m excited to use it again. Highly recommended!!!

Overall, I am pretty happy with how well this worked. While it's not going to make your floor look brand new again, it definitely puts some gloss and brings back to life dulled or worn areas. I used this on the main paths leading through the living room and dining room and the finish now blends in very well with the edges of the room that have much less wear.

[Rewarded Review] Transition Strip Help!

I have fifteen year old high gloss floors which have held up really well but the transition strip between the wood and the tile had become dull. The Minwax Hardwood Reviver was great at bringing the luster back to the wood strips! I love that it is water based which makes it easy to apply and not smell too bad. I cleaned the strips well and let them dry before wiping on the minwax. Since I just needed a small area I used old tee shirt strips to apply and then trashed them after. After drying the wood strips looked great and it did not alter the color of the wood! I have plenty left to touch up as needed.

[Rewarded Review] Conditioned and revived our floors from pets

I used this product after using the minwax wax paste. My floors are destroyed from my dogs so I wanted to see how this worked on their nail marks. I was pleasantly surprised by how shiny it made the floor and how conditioned the wood looked. It covered the scratch from the nail pretty well too and it was practically unnoticeable. I think both the wax and the reviver together make a great combination to bring an old sad wood floor back to pristine condition quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Used this on an entry way floor. Maple wood was getting dull and scratched. I cleaned the floor and applied this floor reviver. Applied with a clean cotton rag. Results were surprising. Covered the minor scratches nicely and gave an overall glossy finish. Cleanup easy with soap and water. Dries in about 1 1/2 hours.

Best Wood Floor Polyurethane Product Ever!!

I only use this product when I'm ready to get my wood floor shiny and looking new again. The key is to prepare the floor by cleaning it thoroughly and being sure that there are no hair, dust, or dirt particles on the floor before applying the Minwax, Reviver Polyurethane application. I normally do this task late at night when none of my family members will walk on it. Then end result in the morning is a great looking floor that looks perfect.

Horrible

I would give it no stars if I could. Applied to my hardwood. A month later it looked horrible. It now has smudges which look worse than the dull floor. I called Minwax, and the lady I spoke to said I needed to reapply every 3 months. You have to remove your furniture and let it sit for 24 hours. Not a process I care to repeat every 3 months. Now my only option is to completely refinish the floor. I wish I had done some research on this product, I have read other reviews, that sand the same as the experience I had. As far as I’m concerned they should remove this product from the shelves.

Excellent Product!!!

I bought this product a year ago to bring the shine back to my 70-year-old oak floors, had wonderful results with it, (although the fragrance was a little over-powering), and I'm very saddened to hear that it's been discontinued. The finished result looked as though I had used three coats of paste wax, polished it, and then went over the floor again with the buffer. Two coats of Minwax Hardwood Floor Reviver is far less work, than one coat of paste wax, going over it with a floor polisher, and then doing the floor again with buffer pads. Please reconsider, and bring it back!

Worth it!

I recently ripped up carpet that had been in my fixer upper for 39 years. The hardwood definitely needed redone. It was very dull and had no shine to them. I saw this product and decided to give it a try because I could not afford to redo them right now. I noticed a huge difference after 1 application. I ended up putting 3 coats on my floors, and they look amazing!!! It saved me a ton of money! The floors have a very nice gloss on them! Im very very impressed with this product! I wish i had took better before and after pics.
