Doesn't seem sturdy

I love the color and the wood itself feels solid. I was going to stack them originally but now I'm not sure. The top shelf on one of them is loose and wiggles around a lot. And the sides aren't completely straight (pics attached)

NICE UNIT, BUT....

Ordered online. Arrived on time (early) without damage. The dimensions were exactly as described. They were easy to set up and look nice. The "but" part.....two of the units had warped wood. Meaning they were not cured / dried properly before packaging. One of them would not secure properly to the stacked (upper) unit and required a zip tie to hold it in place. Second issue is the large white warning label attached to the underside of the top shelf. It cannot be removed and looks terrible when the unit is stacked.... from below and looking up it is clearly visible. Overall, knowing the issues, it worked for my application. The color in the photo was "chestnut"

Unfolds so easily!!

Love this shelf but please be aware that it's a bit heavy if you are carrying it upstairs alone. One opened, it just UNFOLDS into place!! I bought the beautiful dark wooden one. I think it was expresso colored. It's so sturdy and has three shelves! Just love it and a fairly affordable price

A Beautiful Piece of Furniture

I received the order 2 days earlier than promised. The package was secure inside and out. Because I am age 80+, the unpacking took me longer than young folk, 10 minutes. The set up only took 5 minutes before I began putting books on the shelves. The entire bookcase was free of defects and scratches. I defenitely will tell my friends how beautiful and how quickly put together.

flimsy wobbly

I bought 14 of these for my beauty room. They are flimsy, wobbly and sway side to side. I have a cat so will absolutely be securing them to the wall. I have to remove the carpet and nail strips and place a vynal tile floor under. The baseboard is in the way. They don't line up side by side evenly. They feel so insecure. There is a just tiny pegs that holds them. No latches to secure. I should have invested in origami metal folding shelves instead. These are not the same quality as the pine ones with the cross X on the sides. I had planned to get more of those but Target doubled the price. I am stuck with them for a few years then I will move again and reorganize. We have picked out a curtain fabric to cover the clutter. My Mom will custom sew panels and I will install the hardware and tiebacks. I wish I had bought something with doors. My wall is 18 feet and these don't go wall to wall with 7 columns. So, I may have to move them to my bedroom and sacrifice a column on a 14 foot wall. I will repurpose one set as top shelves because it bothers me that it's unfinished at the top. I have placed taller items there. They should sell a topper piece separately. We were going to custom build some. Definately don't put these on carpet if you plan to use them side by side. They don't align. These are very scary and move easily with touch and it's something I do not reccommend, especially with small kids or dogs. They weigh 17 pounds each. You can't clip them to keep the folded parts locked in. It's not good design. They are soft wood and dent easily. I wasted $1,000 but I needed verticle storage I could move in my car by myself. I should have got free furniture on craigslist instead. I don't like the walnut color but it was the cheapest option. It's something for now. I should have hired a cabinet maker to go wall to wall and put glass doors. Anyway, I collect cosmetics and perfumes, makeup and skincare as a hobby. If you just want one level without stacking okay, but stacking is dangerous and faulty construction. They will easily break and injure someone. Four small pegs isn't sufficient and these should be recalled. My cat doesn't climb, but yours might. Keep looking. You will be dissapointed. Image is of 4 colums (8). I have 7 columns total, and one of another color in another room. I regret these. I considered returning but I just bought a condo and needed something. I was using sterelite plastic tote bins and this was an upgrade but not by much. I gave away alot of items to pair down my collection. I prefer Origami and so bought 2 more of those, I have 3 so far. I wish Target sold Origami, far superior. I have a target red charge card but the interest rate is predatory. Still making payments and I got these in November 2020, it's now July. They are made in another country and imported to Usa. It's better than nothing and I use them daily but I am paranoid they will cause an accident. Not worth the risk or anxiety. Spare your emotions. I'm slightly angry that Target thinks that is cool. They didn't beta test them 1st. This should have never been approved for sale. But I like the folding idea. Just not the lack of safety. These have a high topple risk. One bump and they will cause a disaster. My stuff is heavy liquids and tall train cases. The shelves are not very deep so items stick out or have to go horizontal. I need more so I can spread things out and have display decor. The last image is the damask fabric my Mom chose as a curtain. or valance to cover and hide them.

Great Small Bookcases!

I bought 2 of these in, I believe, a "Hickory" finish (one of several finishes, a pleasant medium brown). They arrived very quickly, were not too heavy and were easy to unpack. The magic words "no assembly required" made setting them up fast -- they unfold and snap into place. They ever had small knobs on their top shelf areas, which would have let me snap them together to form one tall bookcase, had I wanted (I didn't). They are solid wood and weren't expensive -- actually on sale! I am all around satisfied. Thanks!!

Excellent Bookcases! I received them today (I ordered 4) and unpacked them. They were super easy to put together, just unfold. There packaging was very good and there was no damage from transit, which is something I had concerns about before I ordered. I have shelves like this from another company that sell for more money but feel the quality is almost comparable and would definitely order again in the future if need be. There is a paint kind of smell after unpacking but I think it will dissipate after being out in the air for a few days and not so strong it’s unbearable.

A great value bookcase with an open spacious look

This is a great bookcase/bookshelf. The book case arrived pre-assembled, so all you really have to do is pull down and lock the shelves into the brackets. Additional hardware is included in case you want to add another stackable level to the unit. It has a nice oak finish that compliments other wood furniture in your room. The shelves are sturdy and can hold many books, and other items for display purposes. Also, it isn’t too wide or too high that will overwhelm the look of your room. This bookcase is very utilitarian and provides a very “open” and spacious feel to the overall unit. You will be satisfied with this bookcase for many reasons; including the aesthetics, practical purpose and a good value.
