The Icing On the Cake to Achieve the Look of Sheer Elegance

This dark bronze color doorbell which continually lights up was a perfect match for my front entrance total makeover. It is beautiful and very classy. My handyman who installed my new light fixtures at the same time doesn't stop giving me compliments about it. I looked for quite some time before I found this beauty!

Solid Doorbell

This is a very nice doorbell! It replaced a gold tone one with some ornate filigree. The light had gone out a long time ago. It was easy to install and matches the exterior house coloring well. Very happy with it. I highly recommend!

Nice, but....

Great product, except one of the screws had no groove on the top, so we had to go out and try two find two screws that match and fit properly , and unfortunately they are not as nice as the original.

Before purchasing this doorbell I searched high and low to find the perfect one. I read a question that asked if the doorbell is lighted and saw the answer was no... which I was happy about. Maybe I’m odd but I don’t like the look of the lighted ones. This doorbell is clearly marked as lighted although does indicate on the box that you must have a transformer for the lighted part to work.

Button arrived and it was oblong and thin, not square. Button does not light up. It is a nice solid brushed nickel but not really what I ordered. Handyman installed before I saw it or I would return.

Nice looking doorbell but failed within a couple months of installation: the button jammed and it burned out the transformer so we had to replace our entire doorbell setup for the house. The electrician commented, 'They don't make em like they used to.'

Much difficulty installing like "homecreepo" above!! needed diode installed correctly across leads to avoid the dreaded "DING..??", as well as the NON-STOP bell triggering...'replace cover', 'replace cover', 'replace cover', followed by 'ding,dong...ding,dong,....ding,dong...uhhhhhhhhgg! drove my poor dog kaaaarraaaaazzzzy!!

not well designed

This doorbell might be okay if you find a way to get it installed without it falling apart in the process. The brass housing is pretty nice, but the button itself is very cheap and not secured well to the housing. As you try to get it installed the button either falls out of the housing or splits in two. Avoid the frustration and find a different doorbell.
