Sleek faucet

Very sleek faucet, although we decided to go with a different color and style. Our contractor said that the installation instructions were clear and and he's had good success with this brand.

Excellent Sparkling and Tap Water.

We have been using the GROHE Blue system for a year, and just love it! We use the sparkling water feature at least 8 times a day. House guests are amazed and ask for a second glass. We love eliminating all the soda cans. If you get this system and have it installed professionally (recommended), make sure that your plumber reviews with you the settings selected, and have them written down in your manual.

Warranty exceptions that dosen't make sense

Product is great when it works, warranty is a joke. We bought a house that had this system installed. It is less than 2 years old, but the warranty Only applies to the original owner. Stand behind your product, Grohe.

Love having cold filtered water and carbonated water with the press of the button. Unfortunately this machine is very sensitive -- we have to reset it all the time. Worked with the company to get a replacement part within the first 6 months, still has issues here and here.

Expensive and incomplete.

Doesn't include the $100 water filter or a bypass so this could be used with homes which have a whole house filter.

We hired a plumber to install (600 dollars) who said that we also needed a filter and a CO2 bottle for the sparkling water. We haven’t figured out how to fine tune the gas for the sparkling water but the faucet works fine otherwise and the chilled water is delicious. Hope to get a tip on how to tune the CO2 bottle!

I bought this product after I tried it from my friend.The water was so refreshing .I havent installed it yet.Waiting for my kutchen remodel to be completed.

Quality product

I love the facet. Have had it almost two years then an issue with the spray head but it was covered under warranty. The warranty service was so simple and they responded at lightning speed !

Fantastic Sparkling Water From Your Tap!

We have owned the Grohe Blue Sparkling Water Faucet for about 2 years. We are a family of 6 so we would go through a ton of sparkling water cans in a week! The faucet was interesting to install but I did it with a buddy who is more talented than I am and we figured it out. The quality of sparkling water is amazing with refined bubbles instead of large bubbles. The water is cold, not room temperature and very satisfying! If you want flavored water you can add a drop of flavor from popular companies and now you have raspberry, blackberry, cherry water... super easy! All in all our family LOVES this faucet!

THIS IS THE WORST!

This system is the worst purchase I've ever made. It takes a PHD to install (the videos DO NOT help); very few plumbers can get it right, and it is very finicky. We've MAYBE had carbonated water for 3 months total and it's been "installed' for maybe a year. [It's not Grohe's fault that the contractor LOST the first one and we had to buy a SECOND one (without reimbursement - another story) and so we've paid DOUBLE for this but it adds to the pain and suffering.] I've wasted so much money and time dealing with this thing all to try to save the environment from cans and bottles because we love carbonated water and don't want to keep refilling bottles with those 'other options'. Grohe Blue system is not worth the headache, the loss of time or the cost! God I wish I could get my money back. At this point we will likely have to rip the whole thing out and install a regular faucet and have cans all over the place. The latest issue is the coupling on the end of the red hose has broken and the CO2 leaks out after 2 days so in order to get carbonated water we have to refill a 5lb CO2 every week or more often - not the ideal situation. Nowhere on any documentation does it show how or where to get a replacement for this red hose and the crappy plastic part that broke. This has been such a huge nightmare.

Not for use with a home water softener

In theory this would be great however what is not readily evident is that this system can not be used with a water softener. A water softener is near essential in places like Arizona. When I called customer service they would not even walk through trouble shooting with me and two different people said they would talk with their technicians and call me back which never happened. Based on prior reviews they say that it is helpful to use a magnesium+ filter which Grohe US has discontinued so if I wanted to try that I would have to purchase on ebay or from another country for a price tag. Too much trouble for the money with a lacking customer service. Its been a huge headache.

None of the instructions are in English. If you fail to cut the 2 x 6 vent hole according to the picture instructions, your $2,000 unit will overheat and void the warranty.

Sparkling, perfect club soda from kitchen faucet

Be prepared to pay about as much for a professional plumber to install as the faucet itself. Totally worth it for me. I drink so much more water! It takes about a day of use to “settle in”, but after that it is perfect and delicious.The first day it’s drinkable, but cloudy and not real fizzy.

I LOVE this faucet! We reluctantly installed, I was worried it might not work. I was WRONG! It's even better than I expected! 10 starts! We love bubbly water and this delivers cold bubbly and still water as much as we can drink. We have plain, with lemon or as a cocktail mixer. By far my favorite part of my new kitchen!

Super Convenient, Not Without Faults

The faucet itself is typical Grohe - stylish and well built. It was purchased with the dream of eliminating cans & bottles of sparkling water but doesn't fully deliver. If you're looking only for chilled, filtered water it's perfect. While you give up the sprayer the dedicated internal water line for the filtered water is why I replaced a standard faucet. I have been unable to get the heavy sparkle showing the pictures instead getting smaller champagne like bubbles. The chiller carbonator is rather large and requires cutting a hole in your cabinet. I found installation to be rather straightforward despite some previous comments. Grohe's video is rather good.
