Good, well made canopy.

Good quality and a fair price. The instruction leaflet and the video instructions (pointed to in leaflet) differ in the way they recommend attaching the horizontal, top wall strip section. One suggests screwing top section into wall before slightly bending and fitting canopy, the other suggests that the two a lowered down into place against the wall together. The latter requires long arms and/or some leaning over from top of a ladder in order to secure screws after lowering into place. Worth thinking about before proceeding.

GREAT PRODUCT

Purchased a month ago,delighted with quality and appearance. This is bigger than my husband had wanted, needs two to position as it is heavy to fix into place. Worth reading through all the instructions first. Now he's very happy with the awning and smart design. Comms were excellent, delivery was fast with no issues plus product was well packaged.

Modern and Stylish Door Canopy.

This is a modern and stylish looking door canopy at a reasonable price for such a strong well made product. The ordering and delivery service was very good and straightforward. The box came with all necessary parts and fixings as well as pictorial assembly instructions. It's well worth taking the time looking through the instructions before starting the assembly and referring to them at each stage. I did however screw the back bracket to the wall first which helped me align the side brackets. It did make attaching the canopy a little difficult but it's achievable. A second pair of hands is essential for assembly.

Worth paying that liitle more

Worth the extra cost as it is very sturdy and robust, steel brackets and the thicker 4mm perspex. The gutter is a plus too, i have fixed a chain from one end down to the ground it acts like a down pipe and prevents splashing.

Palram Aquila 1500 modern canopy

An elegant canopy that had no problems withstanding recent strong winds. Relatively easy to erect if the instructions are followed accurately. Despite the instructions, one reasonably strong person can fit the canopy with care on a still day.There is very little leeway in fitting, so the drilling must be accurate. The seals are easier to fit with a coat of washing up liquid applied first. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

A smart looking door canopy

This door canopy does a brilliant job of providing reasonable protection from the rain (and no doubt snow!). As a competent DIYer I managed to do the entire installation single handed, with the exception of installing the acrylic canopy sheet. This definitely deserves two people to avoid scratching the sheet. The canopy looks very smart, without being visually intrusive.

This is a good looking awning and well made. The installation is straight forward and easy. I installed mine on lap siding; Palram stated that in this situation it is necessary to cut shims to make a completely vertical surface on which to install the awing’s arms, which I did. Excellent product.

Palram Aquila 1500 Door Canopy

Purchased this item to offer some protection against rain etc when we open the outer door. The quality of the parts is very good although one point that I would make is that the bolt heads tended to round off the corners due to the length and therefore the pressure needed to tighten them up. That said, we did manage to tighten them and the canopy looks very impressive. For the money it is very good and compares well with other canopies that I looked at. With 10 holes to drill the parts are then put together easily, especially if there are two people carrying out the work.
