I found this to be designed well. It wasn't too difficult to assemble and attach to the house. It looks good and is sturdy.

Ideal for blocking the sun over the kitchen door without the traditional bulky overhangs.

Everyone wanted to know where we got these. It caused a rash of home exterior upgrades for our general contractor.

Really can’t rate the product overall since it arrived broken. It was packed with no padding on the corners and was obviously dropped on its end during shipping so two corners of the plexiglass were broken. We returned it to Home Depot within 30 minutes of it being delivered. I asked if I could reorder it right then, with the $50 discount we had originally ordered it with, and were told HD online is different than in-store so we’d need to call them to reorder. We decided to not repurchase.

Well worth the money

Bought it yesterday and had it up that evening, had one on previous home 6yrs ago .compared to others it's extremely well engineered and quality..Definitely use 2 people follow directions, Use Silicone spay lubricant on rubber seals to make it easier. the back wall mount for panel after you drill pilot holes can be lowered after front is on If your arms long enough and you have 2 people with appropriate ladders ..don't force anything...buying one more to make a 10 ft .

This is the perfect width & depth to keep the rain off at my door. It definitely needs two people to mount it. One small drawback is that I need to wait a moment after closing the door so it doesn't shake rain down my back as I'm stepping away. Maybe it needs a mini eavestrough but otherwise well designed & it looks great.

I like the awning a lot. It looks even better in person than the photos indicate. The door over which the awning is installed is south westerly facing which is the direction from which we receive the hardest rain fall. The awning really protects the door right down to the bottom.

Product is easy to install but make sure the delivery does not damage the plastic glass. I already installed it but found out that the packaging did not protect the plastic glass.
