I hate this Loveseat

I did not know that I had assemble the sofa? None of the 8 zippers work. The instructions are horrible. Unless Walmart sends someone to assist me this is going back.

Contemporary Recliner Loveseat

This is an inexpensive, comfy and good quality love seat. It is easy to disassemble for cleaning or packing for moving. The reclining mechanism works well, but you do have to push the footrest back into the couch with your legs, not the reclining handle. I wish I would have purchased two.

Love seat

It took me a little while to put my live seat together because trying to get the zippers lined up. After I put it together, it fit perfectly in the space that I had my old couch. I can sit in it comfortably and when I need to put my feet up, it is a whole different feeling for my feet and legs.

Great product.

We love the recliner loveseat easy to assemble and the price was right. Fits perfectly in the 5th wheel. Shipping and delivery was quick. Would recommend this product to anyone that has a small 5th wheel.

The loveseat looks great; unfortunately in the first two weeks of use we have had problems with the latch that holds the two pieces together and one of the pulls that is used to recline on of the chairs has already broken. I'm sure this will not be an easy job finding who to contact for assistance. Oh well, live and learn.

Great Love Seat at Bargain Price

UPDATE: 7/29/22 - STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAUX (FAKE) LEATHER SOFA: It didn't last 3 years before the *leather* started peeling off with less than 20% daily use, and producing endless pieces of the fake leather all over the floors of the house. Overstock was uncooperative with getting the issue resolved and directed me to the shipper who, in turn, pointed me back to Overstock. First, I should mention that this item comes in a two boxes. SHIPPING: The boxes are well protected from the usual things. NARROW DOOR: This love seat comes disassembled so If you have a narrow door to get through you will have absolutely no problem. I was able to get the both boxes through a 29" doorway without issue. ASSEMBLY: You don't need any tools whatsoever to assemble this love seat. At first there will seem like lots of pieces but there is an instruction sheet that shows the pieces and how they go together. Admittedly, there are no written instructions so you have to use some imagination, but it's really not hard at all. The main parts of the love seat are actually pre-built and the assembly amounts to zipping together the back cushions and zipping that onto the back rest, in turn the back rest snaps into place onto the main parts of the love seat. The left and right mechanism are then locked together at the bottom of the solid metal frame. There are also a left and right back piece that slips down on the center back rest. Then finally the left and right arm rests to zipper the main section of the love seat. CONSTRUCTION: I was impressed with the quality construction of this love seat: solid wood and heavy-duty steel with high quality springs. Overall, it's a very solidly built piece of furniture. The "leather" is not genuine leather (see next under Leather) - that would have raised the price to at least 4 or 5 times - but the quality of the "leather" on my love seat is very good. I've had faux-leather furniture before and I must admit, this leather seems to be of a much higher quality. LEATHER: The description for the covering says "Leather": There are various forms leather. Unless it says genuine leather it is not real leather and is artificial: However, I asked Overstock to investigate this and was informed that the material is LeatherSoft. LeatherSoft is made of real leather and PU (polyurethane) and is the highest quality leather covering next to actual leather you can get (you can Google LeatherSoft and see what it is). LeatherSoft is not supposed to flake or peel like faux-leather does. I think you will be impressed with the quality of the "leather" on this love seat. One other point I should mention: I ordered Black color (there is also a Brown). Now Ironically, I also ordered the 3-seat matching sofa (also black) which comes in 3 pieces, and somehow one of the pieces for the sofa arrived damaged (which Overstock is taking care of) but interestingly I had to inspect the item for damage and saw that I received a brown colored piece for a black piece of the sofa. The point of me mentioning this is that the brown material seems to be of lessor quality than the black. The black is a heavier quality where as the brown seems thinner - both are good, but I preferred the heavier black. So while both are fine, I would suggest that if you can live with black order it instead of the brown. RECLINING MECHANISM: The mechanism is manual and activated by pulling out a latch on either side of the love seat, depending on which side you're sitting in. The mechanism works well and when pulled your feet will be raised. And the foot rest allows your entire foot to rest on it. However, while the mechanism is very solid, the part that reclines back is a bit stiff: getting the back to recline was not too easy and takes a bit of effort, but it works. I would attribute this somewhat to the mechanism being new and perhaps over time and use it will become a bit more flexible. If you feel a bit techy I would suggest you use just a dab of some 3-IN-1 oil on the joints of the mechanism which you can access from underneath which will help a bit with making the mechanism a bit more fluid. Otherwise, if you're not comfortable applying some oil just leave it as-is. COMFORT: I would rate this love seat as being comfortable, though there probably are more comfortable love seats out there. I am 5' 11.5' tall, which is average height and I found the seats on this love seat comfortable. Getting into and out of a reclined position takes just a bit of effort, but as I mentioned the recliner mechanism was new and stiff. CARE OF LEATHER: As previously stated, the material covering used is LeatherSoft even though it merely states "Leather" in the description. Since this is not genuine leather (which can last very long if properly cared for) do not sit on this chair with any sharp objects in your pockets, and of course, do not let any pets at all - especially a cat that has not been de-clawed - to get onto it. Be careful if you have toddlers that like to climb up on things with tiny sharp objects. Do NOT place this love seat near a heat source such as an open flame or a radiator because over time the hot dry air will dry out the surface and can cause premature breakdown and cracking. Unfortunately, other than the single sheet on assembly there are no instructions on how to care for the leather covering. However, I would suggest that you use a Faux Leather Conditioner before you actually put the love seat into use: There are various types and brands of leather conditioner you can find on ****, but keep in mind one thing: You should NOT use any leather cleaner or conditioner for real leather. Real leather cleaners and conditioners need to penetrate the surface, and with a faux-leather material there is no real surface to penetrate and so it might just sit on the surface. I found a cleaner conditioner that is designed for faux leather including vinyl and bonded leather called Trinova Faux Leather Conditioner and Cleaner, which you can find on ****. It comes in an 18 oz plastic spray container that should last a long time - follow the instruction that come with it. I've already applied it and it makes the leather feel smoother and a bit more shiny and there's no smell or pickup onto your skin. SUMMARY: Other than the stiffness of the reclining mechanism which should ease-up over time with regular use, this is a very attractive and solidly constructed recliner love seat that should last a long time if you take care of the "leather". I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Overstock's price was quite a buy.

Budget usable recliner

Average quality, good material withstanding our dogs claws, easy to assemble , a little too overpriced , does not stay fully reclined, you will eventually exhibit tension and pain in your back and legs after 2 years. its completely worn down. however the material is still perfect and no tears it is indeed poor quality chair for the price paid. waist of money

have a laugh putting it together,

i bought this loveseat so my grand childing can have a set for thanksgiving. thetime and the price was the reason to buy it i never saw a loveseat delivered in two small boxes. gave us a good laugh as my son and i put it together.. the final truth is this loveseat is good as a backup but i would not expect to get a year of use before it falls apart. It will do for my needs as a childes backup seat when they visit be prepared to spend time putting it together. No tools needed but keep laughing as you do it.

Took me a while to assemble, but this is a good product at a nice price. I'd recommand you can buy the recliners with more function if you have a higher budget, But this is fairly good after comparing all prices I saw online. Instruction is kinda difficult to read, you will need to take a look at it carefully before you actually start to assemble. Make sure to avoid assemble in a wrong way cause it gonna cost you longer to dispatch.

Loveseat with Two Built-In Recliners

Loveseat with Two Built-In Recliners is attractive, very comfortable and much easier to get out of reclining position than other recliners i have had as I am only 5'3" and usually have trouble getting the footrest back down. Received many compliments on this piece (these pieces). I highly recommend it for the value, design & comfort.

Some assembly required!!!

It took several hours to unpack and assemble. The first recliner went well, but I got stuck on the second one. I called an expert (my son-in-law) and he discovered that the factory had installed a piece backward. After he reversed that it was OK. It's actually fine now, and seems to as advertised. Very comfortable.

Leather Love seat,good item for price.

The recliner is nice. It just looked bigger in the order picture. Great Great sofa . Visiting my son be a year since purchase this item. He loves it. I just like that it has hold up so well for him and his big pit bull dog The Boss!! Firm still . Most of my order from overstock have be for him and we have be please. I wait to review because I don't see items until I go visit. All items I have purchase are not for me. For gifts for family or my son ,his apt. is all items from overstock.

I thought this was such a great price because of the deep discount. We were disappointed with the size. We bought it to replace our old double recliner and it's a foot less wide so we are sitting nearly elbow to elbow to each other. The seat isn't very cushiony and when we recline our feet are off the end of the footrest. I'm 5'6" 122lbs and my husband is 5'10 170lb. We kept it though. May replace in near future. The leather is nice and soft but not genuine leather. Ships from China.

Update 6/25/19: I dropped this loveseat down to 2 stars after owning it for a few months. It is falling apart; metal coils have come out of the bottoms of both sides. The "leather" is paper thin and wearing off. The mechanism is still stiff as a board. We don't bother to put the foot rest back down most of the time because it is so difficult to move. The only reason I kept it to 2 stars instead of 1 is that I paid about *** for it with a coupon we had earned. I do not recommend this furniture at all. --- We have not had the easiest time with this reclining loveseat. When we assembled it, the two seats would not lock together because one of the plastic feet on one chair interfered with the frame of the other chair. The problem was handled with a pair of channel locks and a bunch of pushing. The reclining mechanisms are stiff and difficult to use as has been mentioned in other reviews. Our biggest problem now is getting the seats to close completely when we sit up. It takes a lot of strength to close them enough to get them to latch. I actually pulled a muscle on the first day. We sometimes resort to standing up and pushing it closed by hand. The leather has a nice feel and the seats are very comfortable, especially in the lumbar area. The loveseat is quite nice looking and fits well with our living room. The smaller size is perfect because our living room is rather narrow. Overall, I would not recommend this loveseat to anyone who wants to be able to lay back or stand up without a minor aerobic workout. I do not get the impression that the mechanisms will get easier to use over time.

Excellent quality loveseat for the money!

Was unsure at first, as I had never ordered furniture on line, but after reading the positive reviews, decided to take a chance. Arrived very fast, within three days of my order, in two boxes, via FedEx. Very easy to assemble by one person, no tools required. Good quality, durable and comfortable. Two position, dual recliners, plush, soft cushions. Highly recommend for a study or living room (matching sofa available as well), where space is limited. As advertised, highly recommend! Can't beat the price either.

Belive it or not, this is the 1st piece of furniture purchased for the living room, since Harvey flooded our house with 4ft. of water. I purchased this for it's size as well as reclining option. It is smaller than most I looked at but, for me that was great. I am only 5ft. 2in. For once I can actually recline with a book and read comfortly. Really love that all of the cushions zip off. I wouldn't suggest for taller person or someone who wants an extremely soft seat, though. Assembly was not at all complicated, hardest part was getting it out of the box. ith the help of my 15 yr. old Granddaughter, it only took about 20 minutes.
