We are in the process of DIY renovation on our 1925 house we just purchased and this was what we were looking for. We paired with LED Edison bulbs with amber glass for that vintage feel. This light is a high quality flush mount, the way the glass attaches with rubber grommets drilled through the glass is excellent.
The electrician thought these were really nice.
Love this fixture! have it in one bedroom and putting one in two more bedrooms. The mixture of the matte black and the very muted brass is perfect and very current. The clear glass cover could be a little tricky putting on the fixture, but the electrician had no trouble.

Really easy to install and looks nice. The problem for me is aesthetic - the glass dome is really big... Almost oddly oversized compared to the fixture. We have a similar but much lower profile light in the room across the hall and standing there with both doors open it makes it even stranger. I tried to capture it in the pic. I read the dimensions but they don't seem odd, just off to see in person.

These are beautiful and easy to install, but have itchy insulation inside which was somewhat annoying. Also heads up they are MUCH larger than portrayed in pictures, so pay attention to measurements, and go for larger bulbs with the medium base, ours look so tiny in there - ha!
