solid but clearly cheap

bought in 2020 to wfh, the build is strong. i have a shelf that one peg constantly falls out of, butnotherwise is fine. the issue is the finish- its not even a good veneer. its papery, so when it starts to peel, the whole thing peels off in horrendous strips. if youre looking for long lasting beauty, this aint it.

Love it

Love this desk. It has the perfect amount of storage space and perfect for working long hours so can switch between sitting and standing which helps tremendously with my back issues.

Arrived much earlier than expected! Sturdy and a good size for what our office space needed. Working on putting it together has been fairly easy - do wish there were more color options but overall happy.

Great WFH desk

This desk is a great buy for your work from home environment. It fits well in the space and it's desk space is large enough for my monitors and the bookshelf is a good extra bonus. Personally, I wish the height was a little higher at the peak, but I think it would fit most buyers.

Exactly What I Was Looking For

This desk is exactly what I was looking for. I have two 24 inch monitors that I use for work. I didn't want a big desk because I didn't want to take a lot of the space in the room (we also have exercise equipment, use as an exercise room). Also, I was quickly attracted to the desk because it has shelves. This desk fit great in the corner of the room. Loving the opportunity to sit or stand during my work day. Recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a sit-to-stand!

Great functional work desk

This is a great functional desk for work. The mechanism for sit to stand position is pretty smooth and so far of good quality. Also stores more books than anticipated. Overall satisfied with this desk.

Sit/stand desk

Really great sit/stand desk. Took a little bit to get together. You'll need 2 people. One of the pieces was upside down when the holes were drilled at assembly, so one piece isn't finished now. But it's mostly covered, so I don't mind. A little smaller than I thought. You can only fit 2 monitors on it, so if you need 3, this isn't for you.

Easy instructions. HARD assembly. (partner req.)

I don't know how so many other people found this desk easy to assemble because I had to pay someone to help me. The instructions are super easy to follow, but there are parts that say "partner required," and believe me, they aren't kidding - don't try this yourself. This is the first piece of furniture I've ever assembled that just had pegs, holes, and corkboard with no way to secure the pieces you'd already put together. Every time I thought I was making progress, the parts would come detached again. The desk does look nice when fully assembled, but the quality is low-average and flimsy.

Good, not great

It looks great in real life. We also ordered the file cabinet and the cube shelf to match. The desk looks small in comparison to the other pieces. I say good, because the top is already showing signs of wear and we've only had it a few months.

Electric screwdriver suggested to assemble

Great desk. I love the sit/stand option. I wish it had a higher weight limit on the part that raises. However it does ensure that I keep the desk clean if I want to use the stand option. When assembling I would suggest an electric screwdriver for adding the hardware for the desktop. It ensures everything is more secure. Plus it will save your hands from getting blisters.

Great work from home desk w/ sit stand

Great sit stand desk. I ordered this after working from a folding table for working at home. Love being able to sit or stand without paying $*** like some of the motorized desks. It's easy to adjust between sitting and standing. There are only a few height positions, but that's fine. The built in bookshelf is nice too. It took some time to put this desk together. The pieces were label, but in different spots. Organizing them first will help. Attached are photos of the desk down and up.

Good desk: Here are some tips for set up

This is a really good desk. You legitimately NEED two people (you + an assistant) and a screwdriver to put it together. You cannot change the side that the bookshelf is on. Don't plan to put more than 20lbs of stuff on the desk part, either.

daunting assembly

We opened the box and took a look at the pieces. My son sat down to read the instructions and locate the items. "No power tools required" does not translate to "ease" of assembly. We are not afraid of power tools, love 'em actually. This was one item better off assembled by professionals. We bailed. I ordered a desk riser right away. That turns out to have been best option - NO ASSEMBLY, PERIOD.

Perfect for your home office

Pros: Desk looks better in person than online Easy to setup but did take about 2 or 3 hours, instructions were spot on Gas struts make raising and lowering the desk extremely easy Tons of work space and "storage" for a corner desk Cons: Backing on the side that doesnt have the shelves is open, not a huge deal for most but I would have liked to have seen an optional "cover" for this since it would cost them $2 in materials and this is a mid-priced desk Desk is made of MDF, be VERY careful to not over "torque" any of the screws, if you rip the screw out of the hole, you're literally (excuse the pun) screwed Some of the "anchors" that you turn 180* seem to bend rather easier making them raise up over the wood, not a huge deal, just happened to notice while assembling Laminate scratches easily Shelves just sit on top of some pins and can fall/slide out pretty easily Overall I'm EXTREMELY happy with the desk. Dont let my cons fool you. I felt I needed to put some cons and these are all very minor issues that you wont think about on a day to day basis. The desk is perfect for our room and the color matches our TV stand pretty spot on. I've already recommended this desk to 2 of our family friends but its a little bit pricey

Beautiful desk, but heavy to lift inside. Worth it

The quality was really excellent, matched the picture exactly. It does come fully disassembled, and the box is rather heavy so make sure you have someone to help you life it inside. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, assembly does not take much time at all. I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone who finds themselves telecommuting. It has a flexible office feel but is a piece lovely enough to blend with your home furnishings

Good value, easy assembly

Since a lot of people have been working from home more, myself included, I really wanted a stand up desk. I'd been looking though a lot of desks and comparing prices, I think this is a really good deal! When it arrived everything was intact with no scratches or dents and was fairly easy to put together. The stickers they use to mark the pieces come off without leaving any residue! It was three settings for the height, my only concern is when I lift or lower the desk it feel a little shaky. I'm hoping it stands the test of time. But overall I'm very happy with this purchase 😊

Great looking, but not extremely sturdy.

I was really excited for this piece as I have had a standing desk in the past, but never a built in one. This desk is beautiful, the color is gorgeous and it looks nice in my office. I will say it, was surprisingly easy to put together although it took a few hours. The only negative is that it doesn't feel as sturdy as I expected. I went to move it closer to the wall after putting it together, and the pieces were wobbly. I re-checked every screw and they were all tight, yet it was still wobbly. I'm going to add a couple of extra nails to certain parts of the desk, specifically where the bookcase portion meets the desk portion to reinforce it. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the directions don't instruct you on how to operate the sit to stand portion of the desk. It's easy enough to bring it to the stand position, but takes some finesse to get it back down to the sitting position.

Great value for a standing desk

I love that this desk has so many features without being too huge (or expensive). The bookshelf and table top seem very sturdy even when elevated. I'm 5ft 6in and the highest standing setting is perfect for me. My only negative is that it took a while to assemble because there are so many pieces, but my boyfriend and I were able to construct it in under two hours.
