It did take a while to put it together and was a bit confusing at times, but it’s very beautiful in person. It does look like a piece of actual furniture. Be warned, though! I’d originally wanted it in the center of a room as a divider, but the back is just raw MDF without any veneer, so it will not work if you plan to use it like that. It must be against a wall to maintain the illusion, or if you know how to veneer, be prepared to do that first before you put the whole piece together.

Exactly as pictured online. Easy assembly. Looks great. I did not add the shelves, just a personal choice. Solid piece of furniture. Arrived undamaged and packed very nicely. Would definitely recommend the Modway Render tv stand.

Furniture, once assembled, is ok. Not as much solid wood as I would like. Mostly particle board, potentially flimsy, but at least the legs, top is solid wood. Customer service from Wayfair was awful, though. I had paid a higher price for it because it was supposed to include white glove deliveryassembly. The delivery partner could not accommodate assembly, it turns out, didnt haul away the packaging either. The price of the console dropped by almost 100 the same day, seeing as white glove was no longer available. Wayfair refused to pay the difference (I paid an inflated price that included white glove, but did not get that service). One rep over the phone told me I would get a partial refund, that someone would reach out. The rep that then reached out over emails was terrible, tried to explain that they dont do price match, acted like they did not know what I was talking about. The delivery partner was very professional, called ahead of time to let me know they couldnt do assembly as it was promised by Wayfair, and that Wayfair would reach out to me to make things right. All Wayfair did was waste my time over the phone and multiple emails, acted like they did not understand my issue and like I was just seking a price match. Beyond infuriating.

Well Made, Easy to build

I bought the Oak color. Very nice size for small living room. I like how the depth it's not too deep so that it doesn't take much room in the middle of the wall into the living room. The material is good quality, not much smell to off gas. I like the assembly instructions it's not that many pieces to put together. Overall very satisfied.

Just what I wanted. The finish is gorgeous. Sturdy and the style is absolutely beautiful. I liked it so much I ordered night stands of the same design. It says up to 55” but do check the measurements of your tv because I was able to place my 58” tv on it without issues as you can see

This is a really good looking , functional TV Stand, and is exactly like the pictures and what I had hoped for. Don't expect perfection, it is veneered MDF, but for the price, that's to be expected. Overall, it took me a while to put together, but the instructions were clear and I was able to do it myself. The sliding door is a great feature. My only complaints are:

Disappointed but Kept It

This is actually a very nice piece of furniture. The wood is beautiful and the styling is modern elegant. Unfortunately it is too small and none of my electronics for my tv fit on shelving. My tv sits on top of my cable box on top of the stand because it doesn't fit inside the stand. Also, there is a hole on each side to allow for cords but because it is so small and the cords are too stiff they don't fit in the holes very well. I gave up. I like it enough to keep it and I'm trying to decide what to use the space for. Just measure and buy the right size because there is more than one size of this unit.

I love this TV stand. Great design--mix of modern and traditional with it's color and design. It was perfect because my home is transitioning from traditional to somewhat current but I do not want to go total modern. It was very easy to assemble. There was only one design that I was not sure why. The right side panel's front has a beveled edge but the left side did not. It's not noticeable at all if no one will point it out but I just wondered why it was designed that way. The only reason I can think of is, it allows your fingers to get a hold of the slatted door on the right so you can slide it to the left. Overall it is a great TV stand.

Relatively easy assembly; looks great!

It was relatively easy to assemble; all the pieces were marked clearly and written instructions were good. Even though it's MDF and not solid wood, it seems sturdy and it is heavy. Overstock delivered it quickly and safely. Like other reviewers mentioned, it sits low to the ground. If you want something unassuming and simple, this is the TV stand for you. Hope this helps someone who has been on the hunt, spending endless hours scouring the internet for that perfect TV stand. It's not perfect, but it comes close.

Good:- All the pieces were packaged nice with plenty of foam.- All the little parts were packed in separate plastic bags by part type. All inidvidual plastic bags were then nicely organized in shrink wrapped plastic. This made very easy to inventory before starting the assembly.- Assembly only requires a philips screw driver (no supplied) and a hex wrench (supplied).- Every piece was labeled.- Assembly instructions say to plan about an hour to put it together. This was about right, but I did take the extra step of using wood glue on all wood-to-wood joints.- The final assembled stand is very sturdy.- The panels are mostly medium density particle board, but the legs are higher density.- All exposed surfaces have real walnut veneer that is very attractive.Considerations:- The inside cabinet hieght is 8". With the shelf in the middle position, a CD won't fit vertically.

Have you wondered why even the promotional photo on this page shows misaligned grooves for the front doors of the 60" TV stand? It's because even the manufacturer couldn't get the hinges to set up satisfactory. The assembly process overall will have you break a sweat but isn't unusual for such an affordable piece of furniture. But when it comes to the final step up setting up those hinges, it's just awful. The screws just aren't suitable, the particle board tears easily, and nothing for me quite lined up right. If you set your expectations appropriately, and pray that the hinges don't fully tear out, then the final product looks pretty nice.

This is a great tv stand for the price, very economical and sturdy for being made of particle board. All the pieces were also intact and undamaged despite how beat up the outside box was, i suspect my local deliver person was kinda rough with it! Some of the screws were tough to tighten, so i agree with other reviews that using wood glue would probably be a good insurance to make sure it doesnt loosen up over time. I also put it together on my own in 1 hour, the steps and diagrams were pretty straight forward to me, i just wish the diagram showed which sides of the parts had wood grain pattern because that took some figuring out when it came to assembling. Now that its together, i love the look, the style is great and i love the sliding door, the shelves are narrow, but i like that you can opt to remove one or both (i removed one so my Switch could sit inside). Overall, i enjoy this piece, its a good deal for someone that wants that mid-century style, but is on a budget.

I can't praise this TV stand more highly. It is much better than expected and looks fabulous in person. Purchased for a 55" TV and is the perfect size. In the picture attached, it looks like the TV extends beyond the edge of the stand, but it does not. The TV goes exactly to the edge (left to right) of the stand, absolutely perfect. The stand and TV look extremely attractive together. The TV stand was packaged very well inside the delivery box. In my opinion, I would say it is definitely well-priced and the quality is better than expected. If I saw this in a store, I would expect to pay more. The color in the Wayfair picture and the color of the stand are exactly the same. Stand was easy to put together, instructions are clear, all parts were included and labeled. My husband and I are the ultimate novices, and it took us only 1 hour 30 minutes. I paid for express delivery, and it arrived one day earlier than expected!! We love this TV stand, are extremely happy with the purchase, and were NOT disappointed in any way. We definitely would recommend buying this stand.

Ok, this is not solid wood. Not at this price level. It is however some really good fiberboard. Well cut and better designed than I had hoped. Assembly is on the lines of any of the larger Ikea pieces. Follow the directions (directions are well done and easy to read), take your time and you won't have any difficulties. Just REMEMBER that when you start putting the stand together, it is UP SIDE DOWN. So keep the orientation in mind as you start putting the boards together. I made that mistake and put the board that goes over the center drawer facing the wrong way. So when it came time to turn the stand over, the side with the wood print was not facing up like it should had been. And by that point there is no easy fixing it. Wound up getting some wood stain and staining it to hide the rough fiberboard surface that was now facing up. I also decided to use wood glue (Elmer's works great and dries clear) to backup the screws provided. Once the stand was complete, it was very rigid and felt reassuringly solid. There is also a steel bar provided that goes under the entire length of the cabinet that gives it even more rigidity. All in all, a nice solid TV stand that looks good, albeit maybe a bit dated. Big con against this stand that needs pointing out. It is the depth, or lack of depth, of the cabinet for placing electronics inside on the shelves. You will have 11 to 11 1/2 inches to play with. Anything deeper than that, you won't be able to close the sliding drawers. As many playe.

This is a great inexpensive tv stand (48 in.)! It looks nice and seems really sturdy. The top review here has really helpful tips like using wood glue. I assembled it by myself, it took me a few days because I glued and clamped the base and body and let them dry overnight. Overall, it took me about 4 hours but I have little experience and again, did it by myself. As far as the quality, it’s definitely NOT solid wood, it’s all manufactured. The veneer looks nice, but I did find one spot where it was not completely adhered to the pressed wood. I just applied a thin amount of glue and let that dry overnight too. While all the pieces were there, some were mislabeled but it wasn’t hard to figure out which part it was. My main concern is that some of the base parts had cracks in them, it was already like that before I put the dowels in them. So some minor issues but I got this on sale and it was definitely worth it. I’d buy it again.

Bad purchase, already fallen apart in 2 places.

I thought this was a great buy for my new home, wish I could return it. First Overstock texted me it's on the way via Fed EX on a Friday, be there by 8 pm, never showed up and I wasted a day in the middle of a new move, they responded with 'Sorry for the inconvenience'. Now it's a ridiculous TV stand that's breaking in various parts, it came finally, I and a friend assembled it together properly. But it was already over drilled on the pretty wood sliding door by the factory, last night the slide panel fell off as I tried to open it, happened again today and now I can't put it back in. So before I could get wood glue or rig up some solution, one of the many loose slats fell off and I can't screw it back in. Yes, it holds a TV so far, but I can't use the nice looking door slat anymore, and I would not get it if you have kids even animals. So it looks bad, doesn't work and fell apart in less than 2 weeks. I want a reimbursement for the wait and not working TV console. Sorry but I was really excited about the look of it for my first place, dissatisfied unfortunately, to say the least.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. You never really know what to expect ordering furniture online but this one was a winner. Looks great and doesn't feel like the veneer is going to fall off like most cheap "wood" furniture you get online. Assembly definitely took a few hours and my only really complaint was the assembly instructions aren't great. The box came very organized and everything was individually labeled whit was great but the instructions are terrible at letting you know the proper orientation of each piece as you assemble it. I couldn't tell if it was forwards or backwards, upside down or right side up etc. I had to go back multiple times and redo sections and guess at others. Outside of that I'm very happy.

This console is really cute and was such a steal, I got it for under $130. Every other console I was looking at 1. Had limited storage options and 2. Was over $300. It works perfectly for my boyfriends game room upstairs. Our rooms are small and this fits perfectly in our 9x10 hangout space. It, however, does not fit his Xbox behind the door because of the plugs that stick out and don’t fit through the little hole in the back that’s cut in half because of the shelf. (You only have about 1/4 of the hole to put wiring through because the shelf height takes up the rest of the space). It kind of defeats the purpose of hiding that ugly thing behind a door, but we’ll figure it out. I guess I’ll unplug it until he needs to use it and hide it behind the sliding door, then plug it back in when he needs it, which is rare. The coloring is.. cheap looking but not horrible. It’s a bit “purple-y brown” and not a true wood color. Most of our furniture is acacia, which has an orange hue, so technically this is complimentary. It works, but you get what ya paid for

First of all, this review is for the Modway 70" TV Stand. This is similar in style to the 59" TV Stand, and similar in size to the 71" Entertainment Center. It has a drawer in the middle with a shelf on top, and shelves on the left and right accessible by a slatted slide door. I bought this from a small distributor on a different website, but the product is the same. This TV stand is absolutely beautiful. After assembly, the lines look clean and the curves are just right. The drawer works smoothly (but no soft-close) and the doors slide without wobbling or scraping. I was initially worried that the tolerances wouldn't be up to snuff, but it came together perfectly. I also read some of the veneer was wrinkled for other customers but I only had a wrinkle on one piece, and it is underneath the stand where it will never be seen after assembled. However, regarding the assembly... The instructions are helpful but they won't get you all the way there. You need to understand how the parts are meant to fit together and don't blindly follow the guide. A couple pieces were mis-labelled, and the instructions contain at least three errors. Read the whole thing first. Lastly, I highly recommend using wood glue at EVERY joint. This provides way more stiffness and durability, possibly preventing damage in the future. You won't ever need to disassemble it anyway.Just a few more things, the product comes with soft pads for the support feet, no need to buy those separately. There is only 1 hole f.

5 Stars

Without a doubt the Carson Carrington Espoo 48-inch TV Stand is the best RTA (Ready to Assemble) piece of furniture I have ever purchased. My wife and I wanted a low, modern TV stand so that our 48-inch TV would clear a 48-inch high half wall in our living room. This TV stand is perfect and is goes with our mid-century style furniture. Assembly was a piece of cake. Very easy if you follow a few steps. 1. Take your time and read the instructions at least twice before you start. 2. Unpack all components carefully before you start. (Items were packed very well and arrived in an undamaged box.) 3. Inspect each part. All items are MDF covered with the best-looking wood finish over-lay. 4. Re-read each instruction before you start that step. You start with the top piece upside down. (At first, I started with the bottom piece before I re-read the instructions.) 5. Tighten but be careful to not over-tighter all fasteners. 6. It took me about two hours from the time I opened the box until I cleaned-up after I was finished.) 7. The back need to go on before the bottom is attached. The wood grain goes toward the inside of the cabinet. This step takes a little finesse. 8. Every part fit perfectly. Thank you Overstock for this fantastic value.
