This is exactly as pictured. It's low pile, easy to clean. A robot vacuum will still have trouble with the edges at first, but once it learns where the rug is, it will go around. Just saying, the vacuum won't go on top of it, even though it is low pile. It does need a nonslip underlayment if used on tile, but this is not hard to find.
