This is an attractive to the eye chair and makes a good accent piece. I wouldn’t buy it if you intend to sit on it with any regularity. It’s just not that sturdy. I bought it to sit in the corner of my guest room for “looks”. So it serves my purpose just fine. I wouldn’t buy it to use say, as a dining chair. It wouldn’t hold up well. It’s very cute though. Great masculine vibe.

Beautiful small chair

The Porch & Den Holman Fabric Upholstered Swoop Armchair is a winner! The chair arrived safely packed for protection. The legs, which were secured with hardware in a separate box within the larger box for the chair, were easy to install. The chair was ready for placement within 30 minutes of its arrival, including time for cleaning up packing materials and installing legs. The fabric, a blend of cotton and polyester, is beautiful and feels like expensive linen. As advertised, the chair cushioning, which does not detach, is medium firm. Though the chair will support my husband's 200 pound 6' frame, he did not find it comfortable to sit in; however, it is perfect for my 106 pound 5'5" frame. I would recommend the chair for smaller persons and smaller spaces. I am using the chair in a corner of my art studio for needlework and reading. I am always anxious about ordering online but was delighted with this purchase, a lovely, sturdy, comfortable chair for a very reasonable price.
