Low Quality Fixture Poorly Packed

The fixture arrived dented in a simple cardboard box barely the size of the unit, with no protective packaging whatsoever. The bulb socket is not centered properly in the cylinder. Just more Chinese junk being sold here.

Light over my kitchen bar

Looks modern! Love it. My designer found those and I bought it. Was not sure when I purchased. Now it's very good and I am happy!

great alternative to downlights

I am a retired architect. I used these in my own kitchen remodel. The thing I like most about them, is they were so much easier to install than retrofit down lights. The design of the simple, white cylinders works for me as feature on the ceiling. The look modern, but also slightly retro. The size is right. I worried the bulbs might be too visible and cause glare, but that is not a problem at all. I am using Philips Hue bulbs, and the fact that they can give out colored light works great with the clean, white fixture.

Simple & Stunning

Less is more for me when I design homes & offices for my Clients. This is an absolute staple in my projects, especially when we can recess lights. Nothing like an affordable option that's also chic!

I've been looking for a lamp like this for a few years but everything I found was hundreds of dollars. Thankfully Build.com carries this Kichler 9834 which is exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. Beware, this does not work well on a pitched ceiling. Flat ceilings are best.

Love this light!

We purchased one of these to use as a sink light, and it was absolutely perfect. The amount of light was exactly what we needed and the minimal and sculptural look of the light on the ceiling was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Very nice inconspicuous down lights

We mounted these in an open ceiling between joists. These lights install very easily and add a nice refined touch whether installed in an unfinished or finished space. Great for ambient lighting.
