Most furniture is made of cheap materials. Not this dresser. This is solid wood. Each piece is stained and its natural finish gives a unique distressed look to each piece of wood. The drawers are deep and provide excellent storage.

Full assembled, very rustic look

We had an area in our bedroom that would not fit a wide triple dresser. The other tall dressers I looked at were too narrow. This dresser fit our dimensions perfectly and provides a lot of storage. The dresser is very well made, heavy and fully assembled. Only negative - It is VERY rustic, to the point it looks beat up. I am using it in a lake house, so it's ok, but I would not have liked it elsewhere.

Solid Wood Beauty

I bought this chest both for its rustic beauty and functionality. The distressed wood look really blends well with our Townsend Java bedroom set in**** It ships fully assembled and is solid wood so I will pass it on to my granddaughter when she has a place for it. It will be a few years though because I plan to enjoy it. The top drawer is very handy for board games!

Beautiful Chest

The chest would have been great if the carrier would have delivered it. Sadly, there was not a carrier that would do inside delivery. Overstock helped by returning the chest and refunding the costs. Once again, I have to say great service from Overstock!

Solid wood furniture. Shipped quickly. As stated previously, the only issue was the wood color which is definitely not brown as pictured but more of a reddish mahogany color.

Broken Drawer & Quality

When delivered there is a drawer that does not open or close properly. Also there are pieces of unfinished wood that you can see in several places on the front of the chest.

Beautiful, heavy, well made chest of drawers!

We are so happy that we bought this chest of drawers. The first one came with some forklift damage to the bottom, so the shipper took it back and the new one arrived just about a week later. This dresser is solid wood, heavy as can be, and has a beautiful finish. The inside of the top narrow, special drawer has a velvet lining which is perfect for small items like jewelry, glasses, or as a place to stash a wallet. This is my favorite piece of furniture that I have ever owned. It is built to last a lifetime, and probably longer.

I bought this dresser in March, and waited the 6wks for delivery in april. When it arrived it was damaged and a leg was almost snapped off. I worked with Homemakers on a replacement. I waited another 3wks for the replacement. This one came more damaged than the last!!! I contact Homemakers and they inform me this item is out of stock and I will not be receiving this piece until JUL. After a weeks worth of calling the team at HM was able to offer me a refund, but the whole interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not me purchasing from this reseller again.

All of the furniture is larger than you expect. It is all well crafted and very heavy. The only downside is how thoroughly it is packaged. It takes forever to remove all the cardboard, foam and tape. Once you get through it however awaits a completely assembled, beautiful piece for furniture.

These dressers are beautiful. They are exactly what I was looking for. They have a rustic modern look and the quality is very good. The hidden top drawer is a great feature. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for solid wood without spending tons of $$.

This chest is absolutely gorgeous. The item is solid and has its own unique flare. Waited after some use to review ... this chest is very durable & sturdy. Finish is rustic yet modern. Each plank used in the manufacturing process has its own characteristic. If you are in the market for a well-built and beautiful chest, this is the one! Highly recommended.
