This is the only Moentrol Valve out there. What that means is if you have the old pull on\off model (all old houses do) then this is what you need. It is pricey for what is but does the job nicely and looks good. The included allen key is too small and will drive you nuts installing the valve.

Great Modern Look for Moentrol Valves

I was able to match my showerhead with this MOEN Align Single-Handle Moentrol Valve Trim Kit. I like the simplicity of the handle. This is for push/pull on/off Moen (Moentrol) valves. Not for Posi-temp valves.

This fits my old plumbing and does the job! Beautiful sleek design complements my renovated bathroom.

Not what I expected

I expected a better off/on function. I do not think it was worth the price.

Great Looking Trim Kit

The style of the Kit is awesome. It was new but when I received it it had fingerprints all over it and it didnt look too good I got it polished up and itll work fine for what I needed

Nice handle w volume control but d/c'd

I bought this instead of Posi-temp valve handle because I wanted volume control. It works fine. My plumber found the related valve relatively straight-forward to install. However this handle and the valve are discontinued. Higher priced Moen model with volume control is not yet available. Wish Moen's site provided this info and other spec details. Build.com's website provides much more info.

Doesn't work well

This nozzle does not work well--it is hard to pull out and push in and therefore often is leaking because it is not completely shut off. You cannot use the handle--it is too narrow to pull out the whole device. You have to pull it from the middle

Really nice product. If you can only use Moentrol for your bathroom like I did this is great! I had it plated and that also came out nice!

Expensive if you have the older Moen value type.

Moen has two valve types. If you have the newer version you will pay $78.00. If you have the older version like I did you will pay $300.00 for the exact same product. It looks nice, but the handle is wobbly once you pull it out to turn on the water, no matter how tight you make the set screw. One annoying thing was they provided an allen wrench but it's about an inch shorter than the handle so you can't make a full turn on the set screw, which is right underneath the handle.

Easy way to update the look of your master bath shower

I ordered this new trim kit to update my masterbath shower. The trim piece came exactly as expected and was easy to install. It is of good quality and operates smoothly, especially with a new valve cartridge installed (purchased separately). Very pleased with this unit.

It is very modern. Looks great. We ended up not installing because the face plate was too large for the space we have since our tub diverted was too close to the handle and the diameter was about half an inch more that what we had of space. So be aware that depending of your valve this may not work with your push and pull valve, but if it does not check for available adapters. We used an adapter for the replacement to this product -also moen and it looked great

Good looking shower trim, but as I wrote in my review for the Moentrol valve that goes with this, the volume control is very limited. I would save the money and trouble and go with the Posi-Temp version. Was really difficult to find. Sold out at Lowe's and Home Depot. Adjusting the temperature stops is a lot of work, with a lot of trial by error.

Love it. Very powerful.
