Love the new spigot!
I recently installed my new Moen Faucet and love the way it looks! It’s an improvement over the previous (generic) faucet. This one does not drip, has separate controls for hot or cold water, the neck of the spigot moves around the sink, and best of all, it looks great in the bathroom sink! Now it makes me want to update the rest of the bathroom! And I’ve already started with new towel racks. Thank you, Moen!
Attractive and reasonably priced
We recently purchased three of these faucets to replace three Kohler faucets, two of which were leaking. We had a plumber install them. They are attractive and I like the higher arch so it is easier to reach the water. The handle base is narrower than our previous handle so we had to clean up the counter there before installing. Also, I didn't realize the handle base is plastic and not metal. Not an issue, but I was a little surprised. I'm sure that helps keep the cost down.
Great Addition to the Delta Porter Towel Rack Accessory Sets. Purchased '3' of these faucets + new water supply lines. Very Easy / Simple Install. Looks Great ! Obvious DELTA Quality ! Needs Silicone when Installing Drain cover. Exceptional Quality and Value !
Great until it wasn’t
This Moen faucet in antique bronze was great in the beginning. We had it installed 9 years ago and it the finish has corroded away in multiple places. We live in a 100 year old house with many original fixtures. We thought this Moen faucet would stand the test of time as well. I do not recommend this faucet.
Questionable design
The water valves and faucet spout are designed to be affixed directly to the basin, with no gasket or seal between them. Bare metal directly on ceramic, with just silicon sealer in between. Never saw that before. Hard to get them to seat properly without just squishing around. But the worst thing was the thin, flimsy rubber seal on the drain, to be used without plumbers putty. Couldn't get this to seat properly without leaking. Took this back and got a Pfister, which worked much better.
Good looking faucet
Installed faucet on a newly installed vanity top. Overall I liked the faucet and not the drain. Install went ok for the faucet, but like many reviews the drain supplied leaked and was difficult to seal. Didn't like the plastic stopper. I would have paid more for the unit to get a better drain unit and stopper.
Simple instructions and easy to install. I always trust Moen both for there customer service and the way they stand behind their products. I have a Moen faucet in another bath that's been there over 20 years and still works perfectly. This Moen purchase is replacing a cheaper faucet brand in which the handles froze up after only 2 years. Moen costs a bit more but is worth every penny.
Best product in 10 years!!!
I recently installed four Banbury faucets in my home. My hat is off to the engineers. It was a snap. The smaller profile of the Mounting ring to include hex-phillips screws made the tightening of the faucets so easy. Additional, the quick connect hose was a feat of engineering. Plus the simplicity of design turns heads. A great faucet for the times.

My wife and I like the appearance of this faucet that was just recently installed. However, I am very bothered by the fact that the waterspout is leaking which should not be the case for a brand New faucet. Please advise what needs to be done to stop the constant leaking. I don't want to uninstall the faucet and return it if possible. Please provide a solution that won't cost me more money to fix.
Fantastic Upgrade
While the looks alone should help you decide on this purchase, the updated materials should be the final push. Taking out the 10 year old facets that worked fine and dandy was just a design choice. But installing these, which was very simple so long as you have tools and access. And working with the update components is wonderful. No more globs of plumbers putty. These have seals. No more yanking up to block the drain, just press and it clicks. No more ugly fixtures. If you know what youre doing its 20-30 minutes. If you don’t, it’s 45-90. But well worth.
Super easy install and beautiful in the bathroom
When I read the reviews before purchasing this faucet, many complained about it being difficult to install. I found the instructions easy to follow and had no problem installing this. The only issue I had was determining whether or not to use the extension under the faucet since my top measured exactly 1 inch and the instructions were for less than one inch and more than one inch. Customer support told me not to use the extension, only the plate. It coordinates well with my other accessories that are a brushed nickel.
We were looking for bathroom faucets to replace our existing ones and was very happy to find these at Home Depot. They were reasonably priced, attractively designed, and made by a good company comes with a limited life time warranty. We looked at other brands and places to buy but they were either overpriced or just plain too expensive for what it was. The set came with all that was needed. I would say that we were a bit disappointed with the drain plug as it was plastic/PVC material and not metal. Overall we are happy with our purchase.
Good quality but install could be made easier
Quality, fit and finish are good. The parts and components for the hookup are well made and easy to put together and install quickly. The only thing that could use improvement are the locking nut rings for the bottom of each of the handles. Due to their large size and slim profile, it can be difficult to tighten in tight under sink spaces. I recommend using a short stubby adjustable wrench. Hot and cold water handles have a nice smooth operation. Wish the faucet neck was swivel though.
Surprised for Moen
I have several rental properties which I do my own work . This is not an easy install. The snap to connect lines interfere with the drain pull rod . I got it all installed turned on hot water good turned on cold and heard a loud pop and was leaking from the top . took off handle and found a cheap plastic cartridge had popped out . Not only was the cartridge cheap plastic as you may have read in other reviews so are the bottom part of the hot and cold handles . What a disappointment from Moen .
faucet is great, drain failed first time!
I recently had the Banbury 84947SRN installed with my bathroom reno. The bathroom was completed the last week of June. The faucet is beautiful! the hot & cold knobs are easy and quiet to use. And it stays relatively clean - not spotty, just as advertised! However, my pop-up drain worked one time - when the installer was showing it to me. The next time I used it, I guess the spring broke because I couldn't get it to pop back up. I had to unscrew the disk from the top, and was able to pull the unit up and screw the top back on at a good level for draining. Is it stuck? Is it broken? Is this a frequent issue with this type of drain? I have no idea! I was looking forward to a drain I could actually plug and use. The old sink had the pull -stick style, and never really worked properly. Not sure if this is part of warranty or how to go about getting a warranty issue resolved. My mother has a couple of sinks with this type of drain, and they work wonderfully. With that in mind, I would definitely recommend this unit - and actually did when I saw someone looking at it in Home Depot!
Inferior product, Delta will not honor warranty
After 6 years, this faucet corroded at the base of the faucet stem and it simply fell off. I needed this faucet so replaced it that same night with what was available locally.

I'm torn on whether I would recommend this faucet or buy it again. We bought 3 for all the bathroom sinks to match. It's a little big for our tiny sinks, as the spout goes out really far (not just up, but straight out). I like that the faucet spout swivels, but I have 2 complaints. First, the water temperature is a problem. It either freezer burns you or boils your hands when you turn it on. The spout itself gets CRAZY hot (which is not very compatible with a swivel spout), so I'm always panicking my kid is going to burn his face or hands on it. There is almost no middle ground. It just takes forever to find a medium temperature. My husband says it's due to the cheap type of tubing they used on this faucet. Lesson learned--spend a little more to get higher quality material on the tubing. This one is just too thin, my husband says. The second complaint is the handles. They are soooooo flimsy and don't even look like they're on straight. Every time I use the faucet, I think the handles are going to pop off. They haven't, yet, but they look and feel like they will. Aesthetically, it's a pretty faucet and that swivel feature is so cool, but I really should have done research first on what type of faucet is safest with young children in the house. This one definitely doesn't work with littles.
