Our previous (perhaps more the fault of the installer than anything) didn't really drain well...it was not set in deep enough in our utility sink. In addition, the stopper didn't hold water. This one is set to drain well and the stopper works well. My wife is pleased...which means I am too.

I made my own sink out of a stainless steel tub from Target. I drilled a hole, rounded the bottom of the sink, and installed this drain super quick and easy. The plug feature of the strainer is also very effective! Impressive for a tiny little thing.
